We have a quail named Henry, our 4 quails tried to kill him, as he was odd man out , ... so he lives by himself downstairs from the others. Although he spends most of his time in the house, he sleeps in a cat carrier on cold nights in my daughters room with his blanky and wanders around the house sqwarking!!. Even the 2 cats are scared of him! They are adorable, little birds, with big personalities!

I had 5 quails that were loud so one day the neighbours opened the gate (the reason I know this is because they moved house that night and I closed the gate before I went to sleep) in the morning I had this bad vibe it was 4:00 am as I walked to the cage I saw the door was open no it can't be I was thinking as I approached I saw all my birds escaped so I looked for them and saw poor cinnamon quail shaking in the corner I cried as I picked him up he was freezing and dinner and chocolate were no where to be seen 😭 then I had to go to school heart broken and scared for my poor quails

I had a pet female cortunix quail. She was a house bird, just like a parakeet would be. Except she couldn't bite your finger off. She was virtually silent, exept for a soft whistle after she'd lay an egg. I have some vids of her up on here.

You can't have one, has to be in small groups. Poo a lot, need a lot of room and mental stimulation. Females need calcium supplement of they take it feom their bones to make eggs, which can obviously kill them over time. Do your research.

Lalala Lalala you either buy them as chicks or you need an incubator and quail eggs. Coturnix quail will take 17 or 18 days to hatch. Coturnix quail is what this person has I think. And bobwhite quail will take 23 days I think. Turn the 3 to 2 times a day and stop turning 3 days before hatch
