In this video I talk about House Training Yorkies and some yorkie training secrets. So many of you have been asking me: are yorkies easy to potty train? Many of you ahve written me to ask me if I could do a video on how to potty pad train, and house train a yorkshire terrier, so here it is. I tried to make the video as brief as possible, but there is a lot of yorkshire terrier 101 info here, so it is still long.
I hope you find this video helpful. Please comment below with questions and comments, and be sure to follow my channel. I will put links below to the items I discuss in my video.

I had my yorkie going outside using positive reinforcement at 8 weeks old Its like boot camp over here, everything at the same time every day 365 days a year, feeding and outside all at same times, they need to be on a schedule, every dog!!

we self feed our yorkies and soft food randum, potty time is when they ring a bell on door to go out , not really a schedule and they do just fine , Not saying you putting your babies on schedule is not good but I dont want to be slave to a schedule

My yorkies are lucky. They have a bedroom just for themselves. They only go there to sleep at night or if I am not at home since is the safest places that they can be and with enough space to walk and play around. They have cameras to monitor them, peepads in thier holders, water bowls and elevated kolaroo beds with their cozy washable beds on top. All in a floor covered with a clear waterproof tarp that makes easier cleaning if any "accident happen". They also have a window with screen for good light and ventilation. A humidifier for when the window needs to be closed. I am not a rich person but I do care about my yorkies as if they were kids. It was nice to see that other people like you and me care this much and I have subscribed to your channel. 😊

Megan. Thank you so much for the house training video. It was very helpful. I had a Yorkie for 16 years and she was house trained fairly easily. I now have a Two and a half year old Yorkie and she was pad trained when I got her at 11 weeks. I now also have a new 11 week old baby Yorkie and this one seems more challenging only because I need to learn how to train her. This video will help me greatly. Thanks again !

Thank you so much! It was such a long video to make, and I tried to make it as short as I could… But there is just so much information. I know exactly what you mean about the mail yorkie. Myself Teddy ( who I had before Alfie ) was neutered, and was the same as your dog. 95 percent trained. He was just such a sweet guy though, that no one ever really got mad at him. His face was like that of a teddy bear, so we just dealt with it :-) he was the perfect dog other than that.

Megan, thank you for this, you are extremely helpful in your information and presentation. We lost our beloved Yorkie, Tiffany last July and are waiting to pick up our puppy when she is 12 weeks old. This is our second Yorkie and one can never have enough information. Yes they are a baby and so should be treated accordingly. They are extremely smart and are like 2 year olds when adults, full of attitude and love, just how we love them. Always watch you videos, was exceptionally helpful when I watch ‘Yorkies 3 to 12 weeks’ , got me caught up. 🤗🐾

When we brought our Yorkie home we also had a playpen and used pee pads, and I took him out at least every two hours,we expected accidents, but what I didn't expect that he completely tore up every pee pad, and we have a cat who would smell the urine and he started going on the pad. Now my baby is 9 months old, he doesn't have too many accidents, but he still marks sometimes! He will get neutered soon. I live i n Florida and it's very easy to take him outside. Your Yorkies are adorable!💗

thank you for being so incredibly kind to remind people that they are just babies and we’re making them live in our world. and i do the same. whenever my yorkie has an accident, it was either just that - an accident (i’m almost 59 and having accidents myself now!!!) - or i blame myself for not having had taken him out earlier or again when he was jumping on me trying to alert me to the fact that he needed to go outside. God bless you for your kindness and compassion. I’m sure your dogs and everyone who knows you loves you very much. Sincerely, Ali

Thank you. I just loved how you made people see the world from the dog’s point of view. It really seems they are just pure love sent to us from Heaven. It breaks my heart and makes me cry when I read a story about a dog that was abused. Geez. It made me cry just to write that. Anyhow, your approach makes the world a better place on a greater level than the relationship between dog and his/her guardian. I think when you teach people to see the human world from the dogs point of view, everything alien. It has the natural effect of extending to relating to other people and living beings in general. When we are kind to the dog who had an accident, we can learn to be kind to ourselves, we can learn to be kind to someone who makes a mistake. To see my dog, semi-hiding under a chair when i discover an accident and looking at me to see what i’m going to do- he’s a rescue Yorkie- when i say “it’s ok. it’s ok” he runs out to jump on me and lick my face with gratitude. how could I get angry with that little guy. I gave a thumbs up and of course subscribed to your channel. I’m going to go look for another episode of yours. You radiate a very healthy, safe, loving energy. God bless you and your loved ones, forevermore.

this helped me alot in thinking of what I could do to train my dog for more confidence and obedience. She is about 10-12yrs. She has the same problems these two cuties have, except she doesn't bark much mostly for food, and she isn't aggressive to strangers but overly friendly. Sometimes she runs straight up to strangers and try to lunge at them, especially kids. I was trying to look for ways to have her stay with me when around people and maybe train her in a few common commands also, like climb, sit, lay/down and heel. I will try doing sessions like the ones you did

I am a senior who adopts small senior dogs. I have 3 chihuahuas and my most recent is a senior yorkie. She came to me with unadvised health problems but her vets have her living well on medications. She has been a challenge to learn but a pure joy, also. Stubborn to the end and so very lovable. She is my true cuddle bug. I have had her about a year and I have experienced most of the things that you advised about. She came to me housebroken but I have a 3 lb. Chihuahua that loves to mark all of the areas that you mentioned. He is 13 but after two years with me, he has greatly improved. Thank you belly bands and the new Cloroxl urine cleaner. I was afraid that it was just an issue impossible situation but never give up! I understand your co-ownership as when I had afghan hounds and toy poodles, I co-owned a show afghan. They look like a greyhound when they are wet. I groomed most of my spare time. You are so right, praise not yelling. They understand “no”. I have shared your posts with a friend who also has 3 yorkies and also believes that they are very special dogs. Thank you for sharing

Hi Megan! First, I want to tell you how grateful I am of your videos. Thank you so much for taking the time to explain things in detail. Both in beauty and yorkie care. My husband and I recently lost our yorkie, "Ceazer". He was 13 and a half years old and he was our baby. Our little man went everywhere with us. He is greatly missed. We have contacted the breeder where we got him and I'm please to say, we will be getting our 2nd yorkie on June 4, 2021! We are beyond excited! Her name will be Zuri Rae. Zuri means "beautiful" in Swahili, and Rae, because she is my little "ray" of sunshine in my dark days following the passing of our sweet little man. Your videos will be very helpful when trying to potty train our baby girl, as its been 13 yrs since I've had to do this and Ceazer was never 100% potty trained. You have given me lots of helpful tips I am excited to try! Thanks so much!!!💖

Hi there, I hope that the neutering helps. I have heard that that also helps. I will say that I had a male Yorky before Alfie, and he was neutered, but he also still “decided“ to have accidents now and again. Most of the accidents tended to be at someone else’s house, so I finally just started either using a belly band or a pampers. I think they were just certain times that he decided that he was just going to mark something and I couldn’t seem to change his mind. I was at a friends house for Christmas one time and he Peed on her white couch. That was when I decided just to use a belly band whenever we were at a strangers house, as I think he wanted to mark the house as “his“ other than that he was a perfect dog and I loved him so very much!

Our 7 year old male Yorkie, Bailey, was super easy to peepee pad train. To my knowledge he has never marked in our home. My husband and I worked together to make sure we properly trained him. It took about 3 weeks. And, when Bailey poopoos, he comes running to one of us to show us what he has done and/or to wipe his bottom. He is hysterically funny!! We put his peepee pad in our large shower. This particular bathroom is on the bottom floor of our home. We do not allow him to go upstairs because we are afraid that he might fall. Bailey is the love of our lives!!

Thank you Megan for your content. I have had a female Yorkie, her name is Phoebe! I got her since she was 8 weeks old. She has been going #1 & 2 around the house ever since. At first since she was so tiny we let it slide. Right now she's a year old and still does. The potty pads when we lay them down, she tares it apart. We love her so much, we are always with her since we work from home, but her potty training has been really hard.
@MeganGraham
@MeganGraham 2 жыл бұрын
Get washable potty pads. She won't be able to tear them up. It sounds like she needs more exercise. You are most likely having more trouble house training her because she was also brought home before 12 weeks, which is the bare minimum age a yorkie should leave it's mom. I hope things get easier soon.

Thank you for sharing your Yorkie training with love and kindness tips. You are so right, they are a dog living in a human world. It's been 25 years since I have had one. And I miss that immensely. I've only had male Yorkies, (and was so in love with their sweet personalities). I only had one Yorkie at a time. I'm open to a girl Yorkie too though. One of the boys was much better at potty training than the other, but neither was too bad because it was occasional oopsies, or they were sick maybe. I don't have a Yorkie now, but am planning to in the future. I live in a high-rise, not a house, like before, so the whole potty thing is something different indeed.

Hi Tammy! I’m so glad that you love this video. I think I had a mental block about making it, but I knew I had a lot of tips that I could share. I feel like the white iris playpen is so helpful, and I have kept mine because there are so many other things that I can use it for. This year, my husband and I moved into a new condo that we bought… And I put all of the dogs in there when we were moving our things, because they could have gotten out and run away. It’s great not only at the beginning of a dogs life, but really to have around for any time that you might need it. I’m so excited for you to get your Yorkies!

I can’t wait to share my Yorkies with you. Their names are Zack and Cody. Thank you again for sharing.

@@MeganGraham Megan: wife and I got two female Yorkie puppies-litter mates, at her insistence. (I really wanted a couple black Labs.) Now the two pups completely own my heart! They are _SO_ cute! And their energetic play is like a never-ending comedy act-so funny. Even when they walk they have this funny trot-like tiny Clydesdale’s. They really don’t know they’re little, which is good because they don’t have Napoleon complexes where they bark all the time.They are thus well-behaved around people and other dogs. And those little faces! 🥰 They are affectionate and full of love. In fact, they do this thing where they shape their tongue into a tube and slip it in your nose or ear! I have a Chihuahua and I never had a dog before. The first few months were challenging. Plus I had anxiety issues. It was December and cold outside. I was taking him out and training him to use puppy pads in my small laundry room. I still had issues for a few years. It was frustrating. About a year ago I started giving him 1/3 of a bacon treat every time he went outside or in the potty room. I’m not the healthiest active person so I do prefer the puppy pad to him going outside because I forget to clean up the poop outside. He now knows he must go outside to get a treat or go in the “puppy room”. He will go in the puppy room and do it on command. Then comes for his treat. He rarely has accidents now in my house! Sometimes he may miss the puppy pad or if it needs changed he might poop in the “puppy room” off the pad. Easy clean up for me. I used to have a small fire hydrant for dogs on his puppy pad. I may get another one and use larger pads because he likes to lift his leg against the wall. So I run the puppy pad up the wall but I will try your method. Thanks for the advice.

She is the most determined non-potty trainee ever! She will and can do every trick possible, she is well behaved but will not go poopy in the correct place, she pees in the right place 99% of the time. Moving back to a full tether this week, it was the best one I've tried for her so far, she may be tethered to me the rest of her life LOL I appreciate this video for confirming to keep going because she is so worth it!

It will get better, but I would get a belly band in the meantime (or wrap a pampers) around belly only, not over his little rear end like a baby) just so you don't have as much clean up while he is learning. I can imagine that it must be so hard for a dog to transition from puppy mill to home. Thank you for taking the time to acclimate your sweet baby. He sure did deserve a home.

Brilliant idea on the "pee cone"! Just putting it out there for anyone who can, I started almost all of my dogs as puppies taking them out every hour upon the hour after they eat and even through the night so I could get an idea of how their bodies work as individuals, and it only takes about 3 days for you to figure out that your pup at whatever age it is is going to go in two or three hours or whatever, so you set your next alarm for, say, about 2 hours, after the first night or two. By the way teeny tiny dogs the size of a Maltese give or take, will probably need to go every hour and a half until four or five days have passed; this is based on a six to eight week pup that I got fresh and new to me, and they need time to adjust. One pup took me more than a week to figure out. Larger breed dogs, it was quickly evident, go every 3-4 hours through the night so really that's only waking up once maybe twice through your sleep schedule unless you want to change said schedule and take advantage of the fact that if you're putting them to bed and they go to sleep will you go to sleep too if you can. During this period they do not get let out of that cage at night until I am secure in the knowledge that they are in control of their bladders and bowels. I give a little bit of cuddle time and extra attention in the mornings,but it's just back and forth to the crate/box so that they will go to sleep quickly and not whine for cuddle time at nite. We all need our sleep...This is why they make that puppy cuddle toy with the heartbeat in it that you can get online, and it's good for baby humans too. After 4 or 5 days to an actual 7-Day week you'll have it figured out and you may only need to get up once in the middle of the night until they grow up and can hold it better or if they're a larger breed or schedule it and your dog will be used to going potty at that time, especially if you will begin to use the words that you want to use for peepee and poopoo or... since I was frequently around people who had kids, I used the words "Betty Boop, or "boop boopy doo" like she singsongs in that little ditty she does. Yeah, close - but no cigar, my words are actually... "poo poo, pee too", and since I'm singing it nobody knows any difference they just think "whatever " and when it's a larger dog and they've let me know they need to go or it's a rain shower and they don't want to go out, then my command is a general "do the Betty Boop" or times when she's free to roam the yard with me (but never as a very small pup or dog that could be prey to large hawks eagles falcons etc). One of my dogs actually did the little celebration dance with me like when Betty Boop kicks up her heels and give a squeeky "whoo!". We do a couple of steps and stick out a leg and to make sure we were celebrating right, after a couple of more steps she would out the other rear leg. Me and that dog would tight she thought she was kicking up her heels just like I was. Due to the shape of her dog legs, She actually was! Funny on dogs we actually think the ankle is down there near the foot but it's not it's that crooked part, the sharp angle below and in opposite direction of the knee. The skeletal structure of a dog is very interesting and quite surprising. This training even after they know how to go or how to tell you that they need to will extend into times that they're sick because when they get rewarded for doing the Betty Boop they look forward to it when they come back in the house and get some shredded cheese or a fruit or something from the fridge, they will do it even if they are feeling better than dirt if they possibly can and you can judge just how weak they are from their efforts to please you. Or whether they are rallying when the doctor sends them back home with you. I even went so far as to capture the eat and drink water Behavior also so I could tell just how sick my dog was if they didn't give a flip about pleasing me to eat or drink then I would know they are bad off enough to go to the doctor before I got out some sort of research tool to begin finding out if my dog actually needed to go to the vet. I can be quite the worry wart who can blow things out of proportion and it just be a slight stomach upset, when it's one of my babies - human or otherwise. I always tried to get my dog's as pups and capture behaviors as they do them naturally and I'm just observing them or hanging out with them I begin another habits and I begin to call their behaviors by name and then call them to do it and give them treats for it or lots of attention. I don't spoil with a lot of undue attention or constant rubbing or stroking that will increase separation anxiety I always train against that leaving dogs for larger and larger moments of time on the other side of the door from me whether in their cage or not. And sometimes play around a bit with the amount of time from this time to that. And when I say goodbye at the door I tell them to stay and be a good doggie. And I don't know whether it's that I have just done a good enough job at the steak man which I always felt was just a little bit weak but they are in the same position when I come through the door. I've had three dogs that I actually would not doubt that they actually stayed posted by the door the entire day unless they had to go get a drink of water or decided to Chomp some food or go get a pig ear or something from wherever they left it. I've done the same training and had a pack ranging from small to large including Maltese and have always gotten Returns on my deposits on apartments and duplexes and houses I rented even after they pulled up the carpet there was no damage to the wood underneath.

Hi Megan. Really enjoyed this video. We have a rescuer yorkie. He was very mistreated for 2 yrs of his life & lived in a small cage.could not even walk when his foster mama got him. Bad bad shape. She nursed him back to health n knew how we were with animals . We are 78 n swore no more pups. To hard to loose them. Had 7 recuses at one time. Felt would be injustice to get another due to our age. Long story,🥴. We decided to take him. Once we held him - duh! OVER!!!! Not neutered male. Omgoodness, drove us nuts. Had health issues so did not want to put him under till got approval by several specialists. Asked my vet if he would stop marking after fixed? She said maybe but hopeful after a few months. The reason I’m telling you this. He is now 3 & he stopped marking immediately after being fixed. We are so so so please. All is fantastic. Never owned a pure bread or a pup so tiny. We NEVER LEAVE HIM HOME ALONE- service dog tags. Can’t believe people can be so cruel to any animal. All they want is love. They give us so much more then we could ever give them.♥️ “UNCONDITIONAL “

His max weight will be 8/9lbs and he’ll be 12 weeks when I get him. I’m hoping “monkey see-monkey do” and my female Cavachon can serve as a good role model for him🙏🏼☺️either way…I’m thrilled!

Megan: Rebecca here. I came upon your video concerning why NOT to buy a puppy via newspaper, etc. while grieving the loss of my sweet Yorkie Mr. Darcy from cancer. I “knew better” about emotional decisions & your video saved me from making an inappropriate choice. Eventually went to my well respected breeder & brought home Little Miss; a (now) 3 pound Yorkie. Just listened to your potty training video & what a comfort!! Felt guilty about the time it’s taken to train Missy as her 5 year old sister Khaleesi learned quickly. I diaper her while on carpets & accept that her tiny bladder just won’t wait. She IS using potty pads & her night crate box. Your comments about Alfie: accepting the use of wraps & diapers on occasion really helped as well. Thank you SO much for these videos. I’m 70 & have had Yorkies for decades. But young enough to continue to learn. I attempted to message you to thank you on your Facebook page but failed at that. SO, I hope you see this. Just so grateful for your timely information and mutual love of this wonderful breed. Blessings always from Rebecca, Khaleesi and Little Miss.

thanx so much for this video... i'm on my 14th & 15th yorkies (I absolutely love yorkies).. i've found yorkies are all different when it comes to potty training.. I had one that absolutely wanted her pee pad down just in case she had an emergency.. would not get settled til i put it down for her & i had her for 14 yrs.. she never had an accident & never went on the pee pad but she had to have it.. at the same time i had another one that would wait til the very last minute & would bark as she ran as fast as she could to the door only to squat before i could get the door opened.. another i got from the shelter at a yr old which was kept outside all the time i believe & i couldnt get her trained no matter what til this last yr (she's now 10) & has finally decided to go on the pee pad i have down... I so amazed at this because i've been very diligent about getting them out.. (every 2 hrs during the day.. 1st thing in the morning & last before bedtime, after napping & playing & eating as u stated). I use to work at a pet store & u'd be surprised at the phone calls i'd get complaining about house breaking a dog.. I always gave them the same advice that u've given & also reminded them not to rub the dogs face in the feces or urine trying to housebreak them because that did not work & all they were doing was possible causing an infection or injury in their snout & also getting them use to the taste of feces & causing them to have an appetite to eating it (what a turn off).. & told them not to hit the dog/puppy because it would destroy the bond between them.. if it was a puppy i'd reinforce the fact that it was a baby .. same as a human baby who needed to be potty trained except it was a baby dog.. cant tell u how many ppl were completely surprised at that light bulb coming on.. put a whole new perspective on training... there was one guy in particular had come in & was buying puppy food... i've learned to ask questions about potty training with customers buying puppy food that might open a conversation that might help them in training if they were having trouble so i asked him how the training was going & he said "not good" so further questioning i found out that he rubbed his puppy's nose in feces/urine & also spanked him... i explained the dangers of rubbing his nose in it & the broken bond & he immediately asked me why his puppy ran & hid under the bed when he came home.. I asked him what he would do if somebody had been hitting him... told him the dog was afraid of him & it was going to take an effort to heal that bond for the puppy to start trusting him again.. told him that the puppy would have accidents cuz it was just a baby & the puppy would think it was doing something wrong & would be afraid to go to the bathroom at all... told him to take it out at least every 2 hrs minimum.. he thanked me for our conversation & said he'd learned quite a bit in just a few minutes.. I would tell anybody that was looking for any kind of an animal as a pet to 1st look it up on google & find out the requirements & how to take care of them... each kind of animal has different requirements... u cant just feed & water them.. they have health issues just as humans do... cancer, diabetes, thyroid, kidney disease, heartworms... please research 1st ... u'll be glad that u did... I apologize, Megan, if this sounds like a soap box cuz I didnt meant it to sound like that... again, thanx for ur vid.. i've enjoyed all that i've seen.. u have such cute yorkies 🥰... stay safe...take care... ♪♫♪

Great video meagan!! My son's girlfriend inherited a Yorkie, 2yrs old 20:35 , and not neutered or house trained. I am 65 and handicapped. I walk, but not very well. Ollie is sooooo cute and I love him so much so I found a good home for him, they have another Yorkie. It was and still is very difficult, I didn't want to give him up, my sons girlfriend made it clear she did not have time for Ollie. Anyways I realized that he did need a lot of attention and he needed to be walked at least twice a day or more. So I found a good home for him. We're on a trial run right now. I may end up getting him back and if I do I know now that I will give it all I've got because I miss him terribly!! They are very precious little babies!!

when we "finished" house training our yorkiewe started to take him outside, we also trained him to tell us when he had to go to bathroom outside by placing a bell on a string and hanging it on the door to ourside, we trained him to "ing" the bell to tell us when he wanted to go out. it woeked about 90% of the time other timed he would just go to the door and sit & wait for us.

I adopted my Yorkie at 8 months old. His previous owners had taught him to pee on pee pads in a litter box. That was a big nope for me. We started taking him out every hour and giving him treats when he went potty, within one week he as potty trained. Hasn't peed in the house since.

Thank you Meaghan.I tuned in the last five minutes of your video.My husband and I have been small dog owners for 50 years. That is not relevant to housetraining. As a teacher , I think of my babies as children growing up slowly. All my dogs were eventually trained or we were trained. We did most of their thinking for them.Yes, our six month old Yorkie, Sir Bailey Is learning at a slower rate than the others. We do not like to repeat the breed due to making unfair comparisons.We cannot use potty pads as Sir Bailey chews and digests the outer edge ( plastic) and rips up the pad from day 1.. It is harsh winter in Nova Scotia , Canada.He receives 100% of my time and approx 60% of my husband’s time. He is full of energy. By observation, we notice him sniffing our cheap,carpet or area, We immediately grab our hooded jacket , boots are in the entranceway,and ready to go to his designated spot.6/10 times he goes quickly. He immediately is praised, clapping of hands and receives an award.Sometimes ,he receives nothing.He then goes into kennel for maybe 20 mins..He goes out again.Successful! I.am starting a chart this week , which will give us the time more definite if no signals from the dog… His crate , his bed ,is placed in our room, never using that in potty training.He poops always in the same spot on a side entrance, inside , on ceramic flooring. We are not as good watching that performance. He could poop 30-40 mins.after he eats. Actually do not mind cleaning up immediately the stools.We use a spray vinegar and water to clean. They have small bladders and always have reserve urine.My husband and zi are retired so have all the time possible for him.Sir Bailey is a forceful chewer. Our colonial baseboards , antique chair legs , etc. are badly damaged. We use the spray from theVetafter he has done the damage.We do not raise our voice but say Bad Boy, Bailey.He recognizes he was bad. We cannot say No! to him at all. He , immediately starts barking , jumping on the furniture, growls , even nips if you relax your hand or nips your toes. That is another issue.Our method for that is speak in a relaxed voice saying bla,bla, bla, Lately that behaviour begins at 5:30 pm -- Yum, Yum, Time!He knows! Are you hungry, sweetie? The little head tips to listen.Of coarse, the barking stops.. Sir Bailey is loved so much . He knows that! He cuddles and sleeps daily on our laps.He has ruined more toys than all our other dogs together . Our dogs had longevity, Fr.Poodle 18years, Bichon, 16years, Pomeranian 15 years , Cat, 19 years.We care for our son’s Choc. Lab, who is epilephic, 2 TPL surgeries, Stroke resulting in 4 limbs paralyzed . That dog was completely under my care , during all these procedures. I, worked my own Physio with the dog, used water treatment, available here at the beach. Bingo! The dog is walking , doing stairs at 11 years old. Sam, is our family miracle dog . Sir Bailey loves Sam and has daytime naps cuddled in his belly. As you can see I married a farm boy , used to animals , plus they are part of my life. For the past 14 years , we have fed, dewormed , cleaned and cared for 16 feral cats . Most we were able to tame .My husband built insulated cat houses under our deck for them in the winter months.We travelled South with our own cat and dog in tow, hiring a neighbour to feed the cats and check our property. This year we are free from ferals..The 15 th of December a beautiful ,orange , fat tabby paid us a visit . Yes, we fed Rusty.It was clear he was a domestique cat. He wanted to enter our home as well as food. After a lengthy discussion , knowing two fierce storms were predicted , we decided to surrender Rusty to a local shelter. We picked him up, placed in a new large kennel, supplies of food treats, toys , towels wipes , brush and a monetary donation.I have called or texted every week for an update. He has been neutered, treated for ear mites and worms.Today, I will visit taking supplies and another donation . My Vet was looking after him.I will pay the balance of his Vet bill. They have changed his name to Mango, much more creative ..Taking supplies on their wish list this time.The Mgr. Plans to showcase him next week on Facebook.Wonderful small charity.Lillian Allbon Animal Shelter, Amherst N.S. Canada. People doing great work , working on projects to give animals a ‘second chance’ warms my heart. This comment got carried away but felt like expressing my love for animals. Please feel welcome to evaluate our current issues with Sir Bailey as it would greatly be appreciated. Bailey is blue/ tan, approx. 7 lbs. now, more growing to do, lost one tooth we found yesterday.Read recently, a blood test can be done to see if he has liver, eye, or leg joint problems. Statistics , were not too encouraging. I did meet the parents who were yappy. They were losing a baby.The owner screamed at them ! I was not impressed. We paid 2500.00$ for our boy . Thank you for reading my ramble . --Carolyn
