In 1994 here in New Orleans there was a thing called "The House of Shock," that Philip financed, and a bunch of us friends and fellow musicians worked to build and staff when it opened a few days before Halloween. It was a blast, and it was outdoors that year in a picturesque spooky backyard in the suburbs west of New Orleans. Philip was there every night dressed in a scary costume when the crowds came through and he actually mingled with them but because of the mask he wore people had no idea it was him. They would even ask for him while he stood right next to them and tormented them staying in character.

Its like walking through hell some gargoyle over life and and you run into a old mum and like fucksake what's up mum, you used be dad, god damn your music's really good mum(you be what you want ok), I'm back reality now, Choosing mental illness video was top notch. Absolute chaos. My experience hitting shit again thinking not again going through music, finding river runs red and all hardcore albums but come on got admit how well Life of Agony and a certain softer side music become, we seen pretty good Anselmo in days of over the under that really impressed me. Never forget how good the SJR albums were either though. The curls went to dreads after seeing stuff like this.

Cool story... Back in the day I saw Type-O open for Pantera. In between songs, Phil starts to sing "Jesus Christ looks like me". Peter comes racing out on the stage and does a a swan dive into the pit. Bout as good as it gets imo. 🤘
