From "Mirror Mirror" (Season 4 Episode 5)
Foreman returns to Princeton-Plainsboro and is assigned to oversee House's candidates. A man (Frank Whaley) is mugged and suffers from a respiratory arrest. Though he has no memories of who he is, he can read the personality of the most dominant person in the room, applying it to himself to create a temporary identity. This is due to a rare disease known as Giovannini Mirror Syndrome. House becomes intrigued by the accuracy of this judge of character and manipulates the patient to judge others, while a team member wonders if House is more dominant than Cuddy.

Interesting in the episode is that the mirror syndrome patient copies the dominant personality. Here House has the dominant personality. However, earlier in the episode, the patient mimics Wilson in front of House. That means Wilson can dominate House whenever he wants to.

I think context probably matters. In this instance it was an empty room with two people pleading their case as to why they had more power. In an operating room, the lead surgeon by default is going to be the one with the power. And in that instance House was specifically trying to remain neutral and not jostle for power.

well almost all the time when Wilson really wants something from House he gets it in the end. f.e. in one of the earlier episodes that House'll take a patient patient, or when House's father Died, where he had to drag House to his funeral, he even got House to admit that his father is dead. House is defenetly the more dominant of these two.

That's because in most relationships, dominance may change depending on the circumstances. For House and Wilson, House is dominant most the time because Wilson is content with that. Wilson likes the adventure, the discussions, the intrigue of House. On the flip side, House is willing to do things for Wilson he wouldn't do for anyone else, even when it conflicts with his own beliefs. In the end, House sabotaged every one of his relationships, except the one with Wilson. So there are instances where Wilson is the driving force in the dynamic.

House is such an expert at anticipating reactions, behaviors, and he can easily read people. But in the times where his voice pitch is higher it means he truly cannot understand why the opposition made a certain decision or had a certain reaction. Like when Foreman told him he wasn't interested in the job, House cannot understand why and it kills him lol

The non-calorific sugar they use in sugar-free ice cream can act as a laxative, and on my body it does that extremely well, so when I do eat a full bucket of sugar-free ice cream, I usually spend the next day going to the toilet a lot. Messed up part is that I'm 99% sure house already knows that he doesn't want foreman gone just as much as foreman doesn't want to leave. Honestly when it boils down to it, yes, house does/did respect (to an extent, I think Taub and Thirteen rank highest) Thirteen, Taub, Kutner I think (Kutner's death kind of forces House to remember him more fondly due to the trauma of the whole thing), and Amber (same situation as Kutner, plus her relationship with Wilson) too, and hell even Masters. Still, he genuinely respects way more AND cares for his original team (Foreman, Chase, and Cameron), Cuddy, and Wilson above anyone else in his life. I think he's mostly just arguing with Cuddy over Foreman for the sake of arguing.
