I tell people this all the time. His acting is above ANY other comic, and the live helicopter story is a big piece of evidence of that. Bill is king.

While this is a truly great animation of the bit, you three would love watching the original version as well as you'll get to see how well Bill acts out the scene and plays with the mic to manipulate the character voices. This helicopter bit was talked about by other comedians by how well crafted it was before it came out on this special so there was an anticipation for his long time fans. Speaking for myself, it exceeded any expectations I had and it's a treat to watch others watch it for the first time.

Bill is a great storyteller and he's hilarious in doing so, but his actions, expressions, and characterizations onstage make those stories even funnier. I've got tickets to see Bill Burr in Winston-Salem on May 18 and I can't wait for the laughs. the reason for the Animated version is because a lot of reactors were getting copyright strike for the original live version so a Bill Burr Fan made this version and told the story of why he made it and Tagged Bill Burr when he posted it back then on twitter now "X" and Bill Burr liked it so much Bill Shared it and added it to his official youtube channel.

You're right. It takes a great comedian to make something so dark hilarious. I''ll be a 'sheeple' and echo many comments; Bill's physical performance is even better than the great cartoon. AFAICT, it happened 2013. Just to highlight the epic nature of the attempt, it looks like the helicopter might have taken off from *_John Wayne Airport_* Cojones² Best Wishes, Ladies. ☮

Do you know that Bill has a helicopter pilot license? So he is hyper aware of what the pilot was going thru.....to a point. No one has jumped out of a helicopter Bill was piloting, as far as I know.

i know it's a reaction channel but stopping in the middle ruins the entire bit, joke, routine or whatever you are watching. You can talk before and after but you pausing in the middle is a sin.

Don't get me wrong the animation is amazing but Burr's on stage act out of this routine is so much better than the cartoon version just because he's incredible at what he does but that's not taking anything away from the amazing job this animator did
