The housing market is unpredictable at all having WAY too many factors not taken into consideration. She said it right there, "there's a lot of things we don't know going into 2025". The one thing we can predict is You Tube prediction video's are very profitable.

I live in the county in which Johnstown PA is located. It’s a dying town since the steel mills closed decades ago. The areas around that city are doing fine. Neighboring counties are growing nicely. The inclusion of Johnstown isn’t surprising.

Eureka CA is in the Pacific Northwest of the US, it’s not in the south in any way…. its the tippy top of California.

New construct compete with older homes in that they usually will offer more “incentives”. But at the rate they are being built makes for very crappy workmanship. In FL anyway. Plus the burden of HOA’s and CDD’s in addition to all their stupid rules!

Home price goes up every year and up more than your income every year. Don't just concentrate to buy a house only, you need to look at economy, how risk of your job, cost of living, cost to spend for other stuff and property tax that increase every year too. If you have good finance may be no issue but some people just barely to get in to buy a house you may have problem later.

Cutting fed rates increase inflation and more printed money putting our country in even more debt, if not full bankruptcy. Just my humble opinion.

Americans are getting older. We need to go back to triplexes. one level for older people, one level for nursing help who will care of the older people and one level ( the basement) for the grandkids. or oher relative who needs a place to stay. It is not the 1950s where most people looking for houses were a couple with a bunch of kids.
