'something we can put our stamp on' ... most houses are the same, on estates or in rows in town ... hang up some paintings you have bought (not prints), line bookshelves with choice volumes & plant specif close to the heart, flowers, bulbs, trees in the garden ... done ...

I am happy Lynne went with Lucy's instinct. I also thought that was the best house for her. I would personally have picked that one too. As for the doctor couple, I preferred the 1st house they saw. While I appreciate houses with character, I would prefer a 3 bedroom house with parking and a garden than a 4 bedroom house without parking or a garden.
