Houston's food scene is definitely underrated. You can find just about any food here-Texas BBQ, Cajun/Creole, Soul Food, Tex-Mex, Mexican, South American, Caribbean, West Africa, South Africa, Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Thai/Lao, Filipino, Malaysian, Indian/Pak, Eastern European, Mediterranean, you name it! 😋

Texas has the best Asian food in the US. People don't even realize it. There are tons of Southeast and South Asians living all over Texas. They even have the Marugame Udon chain from Japan there, we don't even have that in NYC.

Maybe Indian food. But Southern California has a lot more Asians in Garden Grove, Irvine, and LA. I’m willing to bet SoCal has better Asian food. I’d bet y’all have better Indian food though
@kayflip22333 ай бұрын
@@compsigh9275 Nah, volume doesn't guarantee quality. All of the best chefs could've moved to TX. Also, Indians are Asian (Continental nationality not ethnicity).

Never apologize for speaking Spanish. I’m happy that I can speak it and understand it. But don’t apologize. I just love it.😊 living in Fort Myers. Always excited when I can encounter others who can speak Spanish because I don’t do it often unfortunately. Coming from New York where there was so many Spanish individuals. I miss it. Thanks for sharing David.

Thank you so much for visiting Houston David, this video is so great. I am from Houston and am so happy you visited. You can live here for years and try something new every day lol! Please visit Austin and San Antonio as well, they are amazing cities as well with incredible people + the beautiful Texas hill country (Please go to New Braunsfels to float the river and try the German/Czech food, also go to Canyon Lake if you have time!!) Would be so cool to see you explore more of Texas especially the hill country, its beautiful. Thanks so much for coming to Texas you are one of the best food youtubers ever my friend 👍💯

Me and my daughter we went to Rajasthan in Mumbai and we went to Delhi then we crossed the border over to to Nepal and then we stayed in the hotel and we were like out of money and I only had like a dollar 20 cents but in the Paul I managed to get like us some chicken rice and a soda with a dollar and 20 cents I had watch this lady I watch this lady in the restaurant and she had the same amount of money that I had and I was like oh my God can I get that chicken that's hanging in the window that was barbecued can I get that rice and sure enough and I still had to change back to get to 7 up because we were waiting for our money to come through through the military and through social security whatever it doesn't matter but yes that was the best you need to go to Nepal their food is outside in our hotel rooms are only $5 a night five dollars nights it's a must go Nepal trust me it's a must go food is cheapfood is cheap and the hotel for cheap and it's just like its congested but it is what it is cuz India's congested of course but it's a must must go and then we did river rafting and then we did the thing over by the the mountains and stuff like that it was just amazing trip it's a must go😊

Like I'm not impressed very much with the Tex-Mex food because it's Mexican-American which is that's fine authentic is the way to go and yes I'm from Milwaukee Wisconsin I do cook a lot of food I've been in a chef for like almost 40 years but yeah the food here I can't I can't do it because it's not authentic it's just like a mix of American in Spanish which you should be if you're going to say Mexican food it should be authentic Mexican food just a thought

So when you say Kop Kun Kup (Thai) it's thai language but for Laos/Issan Thai it's Kop Chai. Just think of the language in Venezualuan vs Columbians. Similar but different.
