On my channel, I do DIY-type craft activity projects, but with using a ‘LEGO-like’ building & construction toy device product that I had invented (fully designed, developed/prototyped, mass produced, and currently ‘US Patent Pending’). …like ‘LEGO KZbinrs’-although on a much smaller scale currently-we have been working with content creators/influencers to create/produce an assortment of content with using it. It has been really quite the journey and experience, so far! :)

Hi maybe you can help me, I have searched EVERYWHERE how to create captions that move word by word (rather than the whole sentence showing up) as they do in this video and can't find out how to do it. What am I missing?

Great content: I have a small side question with making money on KZbin that would be a great video for you guys. I just got monetized and YT is running a ton (almost too much) ads on my content. Do you recommend lowering them down until I build a strong audience that will be ok to go through those or should I just let the system run ? Thank you

Hey Ricky, I really enjoy your videos! I do have an info product that I launched after people tended to ask me a lot of questions some of which were always the same. However, I am struggling a bit to create more awareness around my info product (without being too sale-sy) and to send people there instead of giving free advice. Any thoughts would be so appreciated ~ Anja

What platform(s) do you use to create/sell your info product on? What's a good platform that allows for the product to not only be viewed, but hosted on or downloaded from as well as provides a point of sale?

It depends a lot on what your info product is and if you have your own website or not. Podia, Learndash, and Circle are all good platforms depending on what you need. They’ll host course content, downloads, and circle has a great community platform. For simple downloads I’d use Sendowl.

I read somewhere (maybe 4 Hour Work Week?) that when you charge higher prices, customers complain less because they have more disposable income. Have you noticed this happen at a certain price point? Does it depend on the market?

The guys from Course Creator Pro recommend selling courses for $500+ for this reason-you get fewer complaints and refund requests (and you make more money per customer, as well, of course).

We’re launched Project 24 when we had 0 employees, 1 part-time virtual assistant, and basically $0 in monthly expenses. Scaling adds cost but you can do a lot with a little.

@@ChannelMakers Thanks for sharing. I saw that the title said that it was $100k profit but wasn't sure from the video whether it was revenue or profit. I indicated in my reply that I recognized that it was profit - it just wasn't made clear in the video. Yep, you sure can do a lot with a little. Glad to hear that your expenses were minimal at the beginning by only having to pay 1 contractor, no salaries for the 2 business partners, having no office rental, no utility costs, no internet bills, no studio, no monthly subscriptions for stock photos, video footage or music, no gas expenditures from driving, not having to purchase any equipment or software, not having to pay any monthly subscriptions, not having to pay a website host, not having to pay anyone to host the online course or host the community forum, not having to purchase a domain name, not having to pay any payment processors, email subscription services, etc. I'm going to guess that the PT Virtual Assistant was paid more than $0 though, so it's hard to see how the monthly expenses were "basically $0" but I'm glad that you were able to pull that off. My comment to this commenter (which was not directed at you, Ricky) was correcting a person's lack of knowledge about the amount of expenses that go into running a business and how many expenses there are and how they increase as the business scales. It seems like a weird thing to jump in on but the fact that a claim is being made that there were basically $0 in monthly expenses at the time of that launch, makes me question the claim of profits made. Maybe someone covered all of the expenditures as a gift and another gift was given regularly to cover the expense of the virtual assistant. I don't know but you made it happen. I'm grateful that you had such a successful launch! And I'm even more amazed that there was "basically $0" in monthly business expenses at the time so that all of the revenue could be counted as profit!

The fact that Ricky has knowledge on a Dirt Biking channel makes me so much more confident in listening to his advice! At first I wasn't sure how I could apply this advice vs Nates methods (which I use). Also, I feel using this particular video and Nates algorithm guide is a GREAT jumpstart into learning everything there is to know about KZbin!
@ChannelMakers
@ChannelMakers 11 ай бұрын
We’ve created or worked on channels on dozens of different topics. That’s why we can talk about them so fluently. I’ll add that Nate’s methods that were taught here were actually our (this team’s) methods. The algorithm video is great! But it went through multiple rounds of team input before the concept was ready to teach. I just wish we’d made that more apparent much earlier.

Ive noticed, since Nate left Channel Makers, a significant drop in views on the following videos. I mean, the videos now hardly pass the *10K view mark* . I guess thats normal, since my favourite youtuber which has *4.7M SUBS* , now earns 100k views on every video. Less than 100K per video, I consider it a "bad" video on a channel which has almost *5M SUBS* . Weird how the YT alghorithm works.

The very first thing he suggests is a huge red flag already. Just like how he try so hard to adapt into this channel which doesn't work for him as being a businessman or boss himself. Which is okay too because every person has their own strengths. Focus on the quality and consistency of your content folks. This is just about selling you snake oil, and my account will be put into hidden ones pretty soon so you won't see any more comment of mine.
