I never had that much from affiliate. But it depends on the niche, like tech channels will make so much more than my DIY channel. But I got the 'small' YPP (500 subs and 3k watch time) so easlily when I switched to really consistent live format, took just a few months and I can now have lovely members and supers. Every journey is different, and you are a great inspiration.

I know how you feel. It is frustrating that they make money off of our stuff before we get monetized. And we all know "it's their platform." I'm not saying it's an illegal situation. It's frustrating.

I've been trying affiliates since June and have only made $4. Everyone in the art world has the same affiliates pretty much which makes it really hard to get any traction on links.

But Adsense is very confusing when approaching it new and while my second channel has hit the monetization requirements, it’s gotten multiple Adsense rejections with no explanation (they don’t explain). There are different ways to do it but most often it's when you put a link to a product or service in your description and get a small commission from any sales that are made through that link. Amazon is the most popular but there are others with better rates!

Sorry about that! It's really as simple as identifying a pain point your audience has that you can help them with! Once you identify that pain point, you can set up a calendly or some other system for scheduling appointments. :) Do you have specific questions about consults?
