God is indeed good. Having grown up Lutheran, in Australia, traveling in Europe I met a Catholic Mexican. 2 yrs 10 days later we married in the Catholic church! God had my path mapped out. He has passed away. I remain Catholic and in Mexico, learning more and more about Jesus and praying the rosary is only way I know to start the day. I'm a nerd for God!😂❤

I appreciate your channel, it strengthens my faith to which I came after a long wrong path, after I had rejected the Catholic Church in my youth and arrogance and ignorance. after the Second Vatican Council there was no more catechesis in the Church. Here we are so proud of the heresies "reformers" and I did not want to starve spiritually and then sought my salvation in Eastern teachings ... Until I finally came home to my mother's church at over 33, which I have not regretted a minute for 24 years. Therefore, I am so happy when I hear such testimonies, they also remind me of how much God has blessed me, even though I was so full of hubris ..😔

Eddie, I enjoy and like your videos - convert/revert testimonies because you give your guests the time & space to share their stories uninterrupted. You're a very good listener and you give ordinary people a platform to tell their stories, stories that inspire and ignite my faith. I also appreciate the honesty and and humility of the guest speakers as they share their struggles, which makes their stories very relatable. Listening to their testimonies on how they came/return to the Catholic faith makes me in awe of our loving God, His patience, creativity, gentleness & personal care for each one of us. Thank you and God bless you.

In the teaching of the Roman Catholic Church:- The Name of Jesus is at the heart of Christian prayer: All Liturgical prayers conclude with the words "through our Lord Jesus Christ ". The 'Hail Mary' reaches its highest point in the words "Blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus '. The name "Jesus " signifies that the very name of God is present in the person of His Son, made man for the universal and definitive redemption from sins. It is the Divine name that alone brings Salvation, and henceforth all can invoke His name, for Jesus united Himself to all men through His Incarnation ( means: birth), so that "there is no other name under heaven given among men which we must be saved."

"The Church is a cultivated field, the tillage of God. On that land the ancient olive trees grows whose holy roots were the prophets and in which the reconciliation of Jews and Gentiles has been brought about and will be brought about again. That land, like a choice vineyard, has been planted by the heavenly cultivator. Yet the true vine is Christ who gives life and fruitfulness to the branches, that is, to us, who through the Church remain in Christ, without whom we can do nothing. That Church is " The Roman Catholic Church ".

Prayer : reading the bible:meditation on God's creation:listening to His voice. What examples are there for how Catholics worship every day? I am guessing daily mass . We have nothing like that. I have experienced some things when I go to an exposition of Jesus. I am very respectful and kneel on both knees and cross myself. I noticed there is a strange perceptual phenomenon when I stare at the monstrance when kneeling. I then get off my knees and just sit and stare/pray there. It always impresses me that it looks so much smaller when sitting than when slightly closer when kneeling. The distance is a little farther but feels much farther.

The Roman Catholic Church was born out of the pierced side of Jesus Christ at Calvary: There were no Protestants, Born Agains, Orthodox at Calvary.... Man created these, cults, sects 1,500 years after Jesus's Crucifixion:

Kitiwake.... in reply.. In your comment you said ... "that married religious clergy, their family comes first, then God second:" God should come first in your family, in your marriage, in your life: in everything. You having said that God is second in your life: is a very sad opinion. Jesus gave you your family, nobody else gave them to you: CHRIST IS THE CENTRE OF all FAMILIES : CHRIST HIMSELF HAD A FAMILY. And Christ put His Father in Heaven in first place in His family while Christ was on earth: How, He Christ did the will of His heavenly Father: to be crucified: THE WORLD CANNOT EXIST WITHOUT GOD: Here in your comment, you put CHRIST in second place, CHRIST PUT YOUR FAMILY FIRST IN HIS HEART, when HE DIED ON THE CROSS out of Love for YOUR FAMILY, AND you put Christ in second place: Please, try to rethink your values. Jesus always referred to the Jewish scriptures for his authority. Search the scripture they testify of me!!! The Catholic church claim they are guardian of the scripture. The 7 deutro canonical have no revelence about the Messiah!!! Book of Isaiah was found complete and Isaiah is quoted more in the gospels.

He must have read the Catholic bible that says that the priest has more power than seraphim and cherubim. And more power than the virgin Mary. And that Jesus bows his head in humble obedience to the commands of the priest. Because that surely isn't in the bible Catholics say they gave.

@@bernadettesolomons1870 so your church doesn't say anything about bringing Christ down onto the altar, that the priest has more power than the Virgin Mary, more power than cherubim and seraphim, that Christ bows his head in humble obedience to the commands of the priest? Then maybe you should take it up with the loonie that wrote "Faith of millions." A loonie who was a priest and church scholar. He's the one that said all these and YOU believe it if you go to mass. So I guess he's a liar. He won't be the first catholic to have that distinction.

No way! I am listening to that testimony. It has nothing to do opposing Baptist with Catholic. Jesus and His Word is our ONLY authority in matters of faith. Transubstantiation is not BIBLICAL. Do you want Jesus who is THE way, The Truth and the Life, or you want traditions? The decision is yours. Salvation is in NO OTHER Name. consider seriously. Acts 4:12.
@mariat108
@mariat108 Күн бұрын
Transubstantiation is not biblical? Then what do you say about Jesus when He said “I am the bread of life that came down from heaven. Whoever eats of me will have eternal life.“ You do not know your scriptures. And by the way, tradition is a part of the Christian faith because it is the witness of the faith. It is also how we got the Bible. You are under educated.

It’s a matter of prophecy and discipline. Have a look at Revelation 14 to meditate about the celibate priesthood: “Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads. 2And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of rushing waters and like a loud peal of thunder. The sound I heard was like that of harpists playing their harps. 3And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. 4These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they remained virgins. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among mankind and offered as firstfruits to God and the Lamb. 5No lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless.”
