They would even boast about how slick they were in their control tactics, but as the years pasted, I just stayed focused on not returning evil for evil. Prayed for peace, and finally got it. Some countries have recognized coercive control as a type of domestic violence & abuse. It needs to be recognized everywhere. Even where it is legally defined, I imagine that such psychological abuse is still difficult to prove -- especially since you practically need to wear a body cam everywhere you might possibly run into them, or any of their flying monkeys. Omg it's so clear now. I've been educating myself for almost six months about narcissism. I've learned so much. But just now I finally understand the final discard. I remember she lied to my face to get me to let my guard down. After that she verbally attacked me and falsely accused me. At first I was trying my hardest to explain and ensure her that what she was saying was simply not true. I even had proof. But it didn't matter she used it as an excuse to dump me and there was the final discard. Finally came the smear campaign. What you made clear to me is why she did it. Weeks before the final discard we had an explosive argument. In the argument I tried to hold her accountable for lying, manipulating, and I called her actions conniving and demonic. (When she would rage it was as if she was possessed). She knew I was telling the truth so she tried everything to make me feel as if I owed her an apology. Even to the point where a few days later when we were "making up" and talking about the issues she made it see like me telling her that she was "manipulative deceitful, conniving, and demonic" was verbally abusive. She would and could never accept accountability for anything at all. Even the smallest issue she would twist, emotionally manipulate, lie, and rage her way out of. The final discard was because she knew I knew who she truly was. She pretended to be a godly, submissive, gentle, sweet, angle from God but she wasn't. She was a manipulative, abusive, sneaky, hotheaded, toxic, man-hating, self-righteous, deceitful, selfish, gaslighter. I took me so long to see it because I was afraid of being alone and never finding anyone else. I lied to myself telling myself so many times that she loved me. When she never even truly cared about me even a little bit.

I think it depends. Sometimes they see it as a challenge. If you find out and call out their behaviours in the early stages, they still want to give it a try as to them no one should be able “to resist their charms” and they need to recuperate their losses during the love bombing phase where they’ve invested slightly to hook you.

I really feel my communicatiin devices are hacked. cause he knows something not long after I chated about something with my friend that he abuses too. meanwhile in fact the GM told me to survive and stay go to office and to be strong. I really wanna go out from this toxic office but my contract was stated about penalty. so I need to stay until the end of this year. Absolutely spot on! The mask is off my x covert narc now I'm public enemy number one. She's so worried about being exposed. I know her game of lies and manipulation a professional victim that could benefit from therapy but I highly doubt that this happens because it takes accountability to get help and these people can't handle anything close to that. I'm so grateful for all the information I have gathered in the last few months what a life lesson this has been. I'm on the road to recovery ftom this demon. Thank you Jesus I'm free!

I cut off my narc... one day he showed up at my house with gifts for my sick mother. He lives in NJ I live in Kentucky... he said he was driving by and had a gift for my mom. I've gone no contact again... next time... he will findout that I've moved out of the country.

I play blind and death with these folks- narcissists that is.. Narcissists are to be treated with irrelevance as they are otherwise you the victim will suffer in the long run. Not worth it.
