3-4 minions + the gold + Xp from them + stacking 2-3 of them for perma q stats vs +10ad. Its quite similar, thats all - basing for the long sword wont really affect the game, nasus can still base for a better item later on - hes not losing the gold by staying in lane. Its just a very high level decision where you have to pick in the moment which option is 1% better, and his choice is not basing.

​@@HappyChimeNoises It's absolutely not an auto attack reset in any capacity. First of all, if it were, it would be more noticeable at low attack speed. Because at slower attack speeds, the time between auto attacks is longer, and the portion that's cancellable (everything besides the attack windup) will be longer, significantly longer than the cast time of E itself (~.264 seconds worth of game frames). Past a certain theoretical attack speed, even if E were an attack reset, it would be unnoticeable once the cancellable portion of the attack timer becomes shorter than the abilities cast time. Second, I went ahead and tested Nasus E in game at both .7 and 1.6 attack speed, and as expected, there's no different in time between attacks when: a) simply auto attacking, b) casting E right after the attack windup, and c) casting E a significant time after the attack windup. Third, the very smart people that maintain the league fandom wiki explain all of this about basic attacks and attack resets, and list every example of attack resets and psuedo attack resets. By the game code itself we can confirm that Nasus E is not an attack reset.

I'm a frequent viewer of Carnarius and I've peaked far higher than he has in the past 2 seasons (not OTPing Nasus ofc), and I can guarantee you that any champion that works top will work even better in mid, which he can confirm himself. That is just how it is, whereas the inverse is not always true. There is a reason why Kayle has such low mr, and that was an attempt to push her out of midlane and back into top because mid is just the most free lane to scale in. I'm new to ur content, usually just see u make some based takes on Twitter, but I really think u underestimated Carn's influence on this guy's build. Carn has been playing strictly Lethal Tempo on Nasus since the offseason 2021. He has been taking him midlane for over a year now. Furthermore, regarding the Syndra matchup, she used to be the one of the more free lanes for Nasus to play, despite her being able to abuse Phase Rush wish just cripples Nasus, but now that she has a super scaling mechanic, she's not exactly much better in lane, but she gets a free lane to scale in and does more work late-game in general. All that really does is further affirm how free midlane is for scaling champs and how soloqueue will never punish u for having 0 impact.

@@Anivia-Freak if you master the mechanics of a champion then all what's left is to learn macro and decision making. And I feel like that's what most of the people lack. I hit diamond in this game in around S2, stopped playing and sometimes get back. I always get diamond and people always do such stupid things. They often don't know when to end the game. Or they don't know that they CAN end it. Often I see mistakes like - we have total domination, baron is up, inhi is down. We can take baron and just end it but people waste time picking up single fights in their jungles dying 1v1/2/3/4/5 and thus throwing (or just doing anything related to not-winning - we have ace or 4 down, full wave on inhi turret on mid lane, they have 30s to spawn. U can easily end it in the mid-late game. My team chooses to do drake And it's diamond. I clearly see that since the early seasons skill gap has increased but I feel like it's mostly to the mechanics and farming. But I feel like people don't know that the objective is to get the nexus.

I've been noticing this with a LOT of famous top lane players just abandoning top lane and suddenly getting more and more LP. ​@@santiagojara8056 that all is a symptom which comment above said is a issue with toplane which is right, toplane is in a bad state and ill give you reasons why: 1. 1 to 2 item power spike denies many people to effectively win lanes and just forces a shitty 1 vs 1 experience where even if you beat enemy 4 times chances are they are not that behind 2. everyone defaults to tanks (ornn is prob pick or ban because he needs no reset to buy items) or die 10+ times strategies looking to die for good wave states or proxies which shuts down any way of making a gold/xp lead via cs denial and plates 3. lane relies too much on jungle which walks only bot because it is a "dragon centric meta" which in normal terms means it is a botlane meta and TP nerfs fisted toplane really badly so toplane has no way of roaming unless they wanna lose lead they built 4. splitpushing is cancer because your team won't listen to you as a splitpusher and will guarantee die 4 vs 5 just to blame you for not helping when you are literally only able to split as a splitpusher 5. teamfighting as a toplaner means either you get one shot as anything than a tank or you play a tank and you don't die because tanks items are busted and anyone who thinks heartsteel should exist should be headshotted IRL so in return toplane feels like shit and even if you win it is a phyrric victory because you have no impact and as a result weak toplane champs now go mid playing same way they did getting far higher elo than in toplane and this comes from a long time nasus main whose ass played same strat in toplane in season 9 and got plat 3 with sub 60% winrate which today will never happen unless i play nasus mid just because riot keeps forcing shit ideas to make toplane weakside not feel like shit just to make it even shittier

I’m always buying the mana item. I can stay much longer in lane and force the mid laner to go back so I can stack easily. U must use your E to poke the mid laner otherwise every time you try to last hit minions you get poked instead. So what you’re saying is not true. Nasus E doesn’t need skills to land a hit perfect poke skill while other mid players need to skillshot which is much more difficult to do.
