These trade unions and political parties are the successes of any well developed nation. U can take any Scandinavian or European nation, its most run by Labour union parties. They provide equitable resourses to people. When working class is strengthened, with proper pay, it contributes to overall development. You are advocating for the capitalist companies who gets richer and richer and you and we common people will become poorer and poorer.. We think our salary is increasing as i am working better. But is it really happening? Compare the growth in ur company profit with your salary growth. You will realise how underpaid you are. You wont even have a voice to question, why i am underpaid. Its because of lack of the trade unions. And you are celebrating the lack of trade unions. Your mindset has become a slave of capilatists. They are cashing you more and more.

Its better to ask, people outside India to work in Vizhinjam port. From bangladesh, nepal, pakistan, srilanka. Maybe they will work much better than people from other states. Whoever is working, every single person should be paid well for their work. All you are saying is, we need to become slaves to make rich people more richer. Kerala's CONGRESS Government was the real villain for getting this project to be delayed for 3 decades. Instead of building this project they constructed Vallarpadam Terminal with the help of DP World. Today feeder vessels are going to Colombo from Vallarpadam and India is paying heavy taxes to Sri Lanka just to get these cargos to the Mother Ship. In Vallarpadam port they are paying a huge amount of money for dredging to dock a small feeder vessel to the port. Massive about corruption from the Congress side had happened for not having the Vizhinjam project to fulfill.

I don't know.. the Vallarpadam Terminal is located just 200 km north of this one and was supposed to serve the same mission. It hasn't taken off despite having a dedicated railway connectivity and operated by a private company. Also is an SEZ. Unless Adani can pull a rabbit out of the hat, this would probably end up the same.

The magic is already there in Vizhinjam, considering it's one of the deepest ports in India and is closer than any other to ISR. Adani doesn't have to do any voodoo magic. APSEZ just need to do their job as port operators.
