To me this is Bale's best performance. Always liked Ellis's books too. "Empire of The Sun" is one of Bale's excellent as well. DiCaprio as Patrick Bateman NOPE. He was great in the "Wolf of Wall Street". Jared Leto he's never really interested me. Justin Theroux and Josh Lucas were perfect in Psycho too.

Batman Begins (2005) and Superman Returns (2006) almost and should’ve led up to Batman v Superman (2010). Christian Bale and Brandon Routh were the perfect age to build a film franchise off for the next two decades.
