I know that feeling man, 2022 is going to screw me over with all the stuff coming out. For me I got Dress Version Tifa, the ArtFX Neku statue thanks to Gamestop, a Nadia Nendoroid, and P5's best girl Beauty Thief for preorder. I might also get that nice scale of Sakura from Sakura Wars as well and the Zagreus and Lebron James Pop Up Parades depending on if I enjoy playing Hades. Also not an anime figure but I also preordered Mr. Ratburn YouTooz figure and I am hyped for that fersure. But yeah, great vid and 2022 sure is wild.

Nice! I wish I had more FF7 figures. And I really wish there was a nice scale figure of Zack Fair (since he was my favorite of the series); if there was, I would have an excused to get Aerith as well. I didn't know there was Sakura Wars figures, that being said, I was more friendly with Hatsuho. If she had a figure, she would definitely fit the "theme" of a lot of the figures I pre-ordered.

Oh I agree, the willpower is the hardest part. At the start, I'm like, "Let's preorder everything!", after I run wild for a while my conscience steps in and tells me "You and I are going to sit together and review these preorders from now on". It's been a struggle ever since.

Looks like you're a sucker for Yukata figure! Awesome! Also regarding eStream company, do watch out for the end product. It can also be hit or miss. The most controversial time was Albedo made by eStream

Oh I'm holding my breath. eStream is definitely top regarding their promo photos... because it makes me think, "If it comes out like that, I want it", and the devil on my shoulder is telling me "You honestly think it's going to turn out like that?". So much internal struggle.

My preorders are a magnamalo, asuka, a amiya noodle stopper, celebration ver of amiya, and 2 pop up surprise hololive figs in January. In February I have a fubuki hololive fig and 2 nekopara pop up figs. In april I got a korone figure, the cowboy bebop figure with spike and faye valentine In July and in September i got the 2 Chinese dress ver of chocola and vanilla. As well deciding on getting some other figure which releases very later on in the year

Great line up of preorders! I am really on the fence for the Chinese dress versions of Chocola and Vanilla (since I have other Chinese dress figures), these figures look amazing! I know I want to get a Chocola and Vanilla figure, but I don't know which one yet. And some of the ones I'm looking at are already released and their prices are skyrocketing. So who knows, maybe I'll join you and get the Chinese dress ones.

Honestly, I am not 100% sold yet on the pose of the HotV: Kiana figure. I love the character. But I was hoping they would have used a pose of her from one of her animations where she's pointing or snapping her fingers as she gets ready to attack. A pose that just resonates "I am powerful". But knowing my luck, the more I look at her current figure, the temptation to pick her up with grow. That being said, I would love if they had a figure with her "Magic Girl - Sirin" outfit.

You are correct, you can't get rich if you don't sell them. Me in a nutshell! I have double or triple of certain figures that i knew would go up in price. I have yet to sell them and the prices keep going up. Its such a pain to let go!!! like one is never enough.

My Preordes are Mary Saotome by Myethos, Tomoe Gozen by Max Factory, and both radio eva Asukas. I'm so looking forward to all of them :)

Great pre-orders! I feel that really need to read/watch Kakegurui, since I feel that I'm missing out on the Mary Saotome preorder.

@@Battletide. Yeah the first season is one of my favorites, sadly the 2nd was kind of a let down. But Soon Kakegurui Twin is going to air, which is the story of how Mary came to the school and got to the position where she is in the original. Really hyped for that and im reading the manga to that now.

It's nothing fancy. Just an Elgato Wave 3 with some installed audio effects and some post-processing through Adobe Audition.

Ah, sorry, I can see where I wasn't clear on that joke. At the beginning of the video I joked that figure prices go up with time, so that pre-orders were "investments". Then showing that Asuka figure which is crazy expensive now, I was implying I would have bought her, making her my first Asuka figure, but couldn't because I didn't preorder or "invest" in her early enough; and now her value/price is out of my price range.

Hokusai and Ninnguang are by far the nicest figures out of this collection...

They both turned out really well. Hokusai had some minor paint issues, but only noticeable if you are up close and looking for them.

For my preorders I've got the two radio EVA Reis, Arknights Surtr Magma Ver. and Onmyoji Suzuka Gozen but i'm probs going to end up cancelling her

I have yet to dive into the Arknight figure collecting world, but they really make great figures for it. I feel that it won't be too long before I start adding some Arknight figures to my collection. Onmyoji Suzuka Gozen looks epic, what makes you want to cancel?

@@riverraven4014 Yep, she is definitely a bit large and expensive. And I can definitely relate to impulse buying figures that I don't know who they are, but they look great.

hi ! great videos battletide! i want to ask about ur past experience buying preorder scale.. so im going to stay in tokyo around 20-23 may.. i wonder if i can buy this scale (pre ordered release date may-2023), and is it safe to me assume the domestic amiami shipping will arrived before 20-23 may? glad if you can help !

AmiAmi is known to ship things out slow, so I can't speak for an individual order. They made a statement on Feb 20 that the average time from payment to delivery is: DHL: 3-10 days EMS: 1-3 weeks Air Parcel/Small Packet: 1-3 months Surface Parcel: 2-4 months So, my safest advice would be to assume they would not arrive when you are expecting them, especially if it's a small window of time. (most of the time they are late, but I got two figures this month that came 2 days before their estimated arrival date through DHL) On top of that, figures are getting delayed every month, so what's schedule for May might not be released in May. Sorry, I know none of this helps. But predictability of figures shipping is so chaotic, so unfortunately, I don't have a good answer.
