I'm older. I've been software engineer for over 25 years and I moved into this space two years ago and I've been following Liam since he appeared on KZbin. He even gave me a shout-out for my GPT Schema creation GPT. Here's some advice: 1. Start making content right away and be consistent. It will be your primary lead-gen system. Document your journey. Build and online reputation. It's a grind, but it will pay off. You only need a few ideal clients to make good money. 2. I took on some jobs at no charge so that I could learn. Don't do this for long and don't under-estimate your value. 3. Focus on building systems-- a lead-gen system for example. Every business has a lead / follow-up problem. Find something that works and collect case-studies. 4. Embed yourself in communities and groups. Become a helpful expert. Teach and share what you learn. 5. Learn and study marketing. It's just as important as the AI stuff. Learn to promote yourself. 6. Agents will be the thing in 2025. Employ them in your systems. Best of luck to all of you and thank you, Liam for all your hard work.

I've followed Liam's channel for a while and started an AI agency partly because of him. 3 months on, while I'm not rich (yet!), I can say that it's probably one of the best decisions I've ever made. I've learned so much from the experience (from building AI solutions, creating KZbin content and building a personal brand, working with clients...) , got to know so many talented people, and most importantly, be in control of my life and my time without having to work a 9-5 anymore. It's definitely not easy, but for me personally, completely worth it.

These AI tools are getting so advanced, that if you don't use them to your own advantage you might lose your job. To be fair it's good for us content creators (especially in combination with a little bit of Famester). Create content, make it go viral straight away, I like that to be honest.

I have started on my AI SAAS idea after watching Liam's tutorials on how to start on AI. I am on early phase, but hope to rock on the specific niche.

Hey Liam, you've been a mentor to my son and I can see he's learnt a lot from you. As a tech guy, I'll get more involved in his business and update my AI skills in 2025. Merry XMas and happy and successful New Year to all of us!

Would rather be honest with people. I’ve seen time and time again there are people who are dead set on making it happen and those who don’t have ‘it’. It’s really night and day difference.

@@LiamOttleyis right. The fact of the matter is that not all will succeed, because there two major obstacles in the beginning: a) not everybody is made for the tech world and b) the vast majority of people is afraid to confront the uncertainty of a new business. And this also leads to indecision and thus, not taking any action at all. These two obstacles already eliminate a lot of people. I don’t wanna sugarcoat things, but I’ve been running my business and I’ve been a freelancer full time for more than 16 years, and you have to deal with uncertainty on a regular basis. However, when you educate yourself and understand how markets work, you will make it. Liam, in my opinion, the factor that is slightly more important than knowing your craft is marketing and having the guts to go out to the real world and talk to people to convince them to buy your services and products. This is the quality that will determine one’s success. By the way, I’ve been in the AI space more than 4 years now, and back then, the AI space was a different world. Back then, I went further down the rabbit whole to know more broadly the technical and math foundations of most AI and Deep Learning techniques and architectures. It was totally worth it. I am a computer scientist by education.

I’ve been following you from the beginning Liam. I’ve learned a lot. I’ve been following all AI people on KZbin since January 2023. I’ve learned so much. I have a giant AI meet up of 1000 people and now everybody’s trying to jump on this. It’s so funny. I’m so grateful that I learned so much at the beginning and keep adapting because so much is changing every day. thank you Liam for sharing your knowledge.
