Hey Richard…. You’re very welcome. Hopefully it snows here soon, and I can put up some new ones😊

That's a good test. Imagine trying to shovel that. This is the snow where manufacturers list capacity of their blowers in tons per hour. Another nice video👍👍

Hey fairgolfer…. That’s what they used to call heart attack snow. When the manufacturers all went with the longer chutes it really helped with throwing wet snow further, and reduce clogging. Thanks for the + comment! If you enjoy this type of video, please consider subscribing to the channel if you haven’t already. I really hope we get a couple big snows this winter!

That is one powerful blower if it can blow wet, heavy, heart attack snow clear across a double wide driveway. There is certainly a case to be made for having a really big engine on a 24" snowblower.

Greetings…. The SHO did really well today. When I needed to throw the snow to the East because of the wind, it threw this wet slop across the drive and then some! The old saying is true when it comes to snowblowers “In a snowstorm, there’s no such thing as too much power.”This is the second wet heavy snow we have had this March. It hardly snowed here in Dec & Jan…now we get 20+ inches in March. Thanks for the +comment, and if you like what you see on the channel, and haven’t already, please consider subscribing.

We had about 10 1/2 inches in Windsor, 9 inches on the driveway. Ariens gets it done every time!!

We had about 9, but it melted down to around 7-8 by the time I got out there to clean it up. EOD was full of slush and snow boulders here.

Thats great to see the Ariens Eat!!! Im not far from you, you are not kidding the was some wet and heavy snow. It almost looks like water coming out of a hose when leaving your chute. I hope your shovel is not getting jealous, but I bet your back is happy. Another good video !!!

Hi John…thx for the positive comment on the video. It’s funny, you can clear the same property with the same snowblower many times, but every storm is a little different. In some of the video it looks like there is solid pieces coming out of the chute. Man I saw alot of guys with their machines parked by the end of the driveway, and they were bust in their hump shoveling. Could you believe the boulders in that EOD pile today? Hope all is well John!

Looks like it is doing really well!. Greetings from Norway, used my Simplicity both yesterday and this morning. March madness 🙂

Greetings… I don’t know much about the weather in Norway. What are the months you usually get snow in? The SHO did really well, but that EOD pile had the engine growling. I have a late 89’s 8 Hp Simplicity SnowAway. Excellent machines. Here’s a link to it in action. I haven’t had a chance to use it yet this year. kzbin.info/www/bejne/lYq4k6RjbaxnZ8U

Nothing stuck here in Michigan. But my coworker's parents live in WI and she said they got like 10 inches. Gotta love that Ariens!!

Hey Mega… it was snowing hard again here for about a half an hour tonight. Even had some thunder. Yah the SHO was amazing. It threw that at slop really well. This machine continues to exceed expectations!

The King Of Snow!! You have gotten quite the workout this year, Bruce!! Been trying to get in touch with you. (Just updated a reply in your Troy-Bilt vid). I have a gift for you........ A cool upgrade for your machine.

Hi Paul…just here lately. We had more than 20” of super wet snow in March. The SHO is the one getting the workout LOL. Good thing it’s up to the task!

I just had an idea. In as much as my 824 only has a single halogen light, and my 10M4 has no light at all, I thought about adding lights to the top of their housings, but instead of bright white lights, using amber LED fog lights. I know on vehicles I've had in the past when foggy, if I only turned my parking lights and my fog lights on, I could see down the road clearly as though there wasn't any fog there, whereas if I turned my headlights on, while brighter, my vision ahead was significantly reduced because the bright white light just reflects the fog back at you. I'm wondering if they would also cut through a snowstorm, or even blowing snow from the wind better than bright white light would. (Edit: And, cosmetically, I think amber housings would just look cool on an orange Ariens, LOL!)

Hey Rebel. I’m not sure how the amber color would work out, as I’ve never used a blower with that color lighting. I do know Ariens & Simplicity both used amber lights at one time, and I know Ariens went towards white LED. The guy that used to live accessed the street has an older Ariens with a factory amber light in his dash and it puts out less light than mine. If you did go LED, you’d need to add rectifier/ capacitors to get them to work properly. I added a LED to my 80’s Simplicity. Here’s the video on how I did it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qWK9eqqkgdWre7Msi=hnJsx-mbKmS82tsc

Ariens keeps on chucking that slop! In conditions like you had in the video, it's best to put the machine in 1st or 2nd gear and just let it eat away at the heavy pack of snow
@blowingsnow4fun Жыл бұрын
Hi Andy… good advice. I did that for the most part, but that little voice in my head says let’s see if she can do this in 2nd or 3rd. You know LOL!
@andyslawncareandoutdooradv Жыл бұрын
@Blowing Snow 4fun oh I'd be tempted to try the same. I bet if that was powder snow it'd gobble it up in 4th gear without any strain on the engine
