In this video, I discuss how atheists should be honest with themselves and the people around them. We, atheists, should be very careful to not create echo chambers for ourselves when exploring different viewpoints and religious ideas. We should also hold value in personal experience and try to go out there and explore this side of knowledge. Because science will never be enough to prove god. We should explore philosophy, logical arguments, reasoning, and personal experiences within the religious worldview to create a better fuller understanding of how we should shape our worldview. An honest atheist can go forward and dive deep into religious ideas without having their belief threatened. If your belief is threatened by a logical argument that is posed by the theist then there is a clear gap in your knowledge and judgment as an atheist and you must work to see how you can reconcile that (if there is any way to do it)

I was scrolling through shorts ended up in a religious short and was scrolling trough the comments and saw yours clicked on the replies ans started reading and i have one question. Did you ever get an answer for the comment you made about "god is all knowing so he makes people with the knowledge they wont Believe in him and go to hell" did you ever get a real answer for that because that did really make me think ive never thought about it that way

someone basically replied and said "We choose to go to hell when we don't accept god" which is an argument from free will and how humans send themselves to hell. that answer still has plenty of problems with it, like how free will doesn't exist when an omniscient being exists and it also doesn't even answer the main objection I made. So in short, no I never got a real answer to that objection so I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I'm glad I could inspire some new ways of thinking about this topic and I appreciate you commenting about this!

You could technically act however you want to, because you have no actual moral obligations to do what would benefit others, yourself, what people commonly want, or anything else. That’s why your worldview is so frightening/evil

So if your god told you to do something you'd do it? Genocide? Murder? Rape? All condoned and commanded in the bible. All of us use our empathy and the fact that we want a world where we want to thrive as the reason to be kind to others. If I want to live in a world where I'm not harmed and feel safe then it is in my best interest to make sure I don't harm others and be kind to others. Explain to me *objectively* why you'd have to listen to what god commands? because god commands it? why listen to what god commands? circular argument. I'd much rather base my morality on something that I and others know truly exists which is human suffering and pleasure. God is unreliable because anyone can claim that god made a commandment at anytime and that commandment becomes moral no matter what it is. That's what's scary.
