I don't really care what people think of me but If im spending a few grand I dont wanna look stupid on it either. I have a 2016 Honda Fury after owning two previous motorcycles and this has been my favorite thing to ride. He said it best about it riding like a Cadillac. It’s powerful enough but since it’s shaft-drive, it’s incredibly smooth. Handling in curves is not bad like you’d think with the longer forks. The seat is comfortable but the handlebars are too low for me only because I’m taller. Forward controls are comfortable but if you are shorter it might not be as easy to hold that riding position longer distances. Overall this is an awesome bike

Awesome bike. Now riding my 3rd. Never any problems. Every day it passes the HD dealership that's filled with overpriced and waiting to be repaired Wisconsin brands without a second thought. Could use a 6th gear but I really dont need to do 120mph on a public street. Great platform for customizations. Small tank but stateline tank adds another gallon capacity. Rode over 3000 miles last summer loaded down with saddle and sissybar bags, bedroll and tent. Yes its a Japanese bike. Yes its a chopper. Yes it gets asked alot if questions and gets a lot of pic requests. But no it does not look like any of the 10 million HDs out there. The problem with trying to bob this bike is the frame cut. I owned one and wanted to do that myself but it makes it sketchy to me. But they are a blast to ride. I own a 2007 Honda CBR 600RR and a 2013 Victory Vegas 8-Ball. I’m planning on buying a Fury and turning it into a bobber. Yo! Just as I was typing my comment about turning one into a bobber, you said it!

What Harley should be building. Water cooled, fuel injection, soft tail. Seemed pretty stable when you took your hands off the bars. With fuel injection you should be able to turbo charge it. You didn't mention it was shaft drive, among other things.

I prefer the Stateline myself. Same engine and price range as the Fury and less chopper looking while still having some great looking lines. Plus saddlebags and whatnot, as it's more of a tourer.

Take all the reflectors off, put a 200 back tire on and a lowered fender with built in led turn signals. Ditch the mirrors get a set of pipes and a tune and its a GREAT ride

I have one. Fun bike to ride. Get's a lot of (good) attention. Those are aftermarket pipes, Cobra to be exact. They sound much better if you pull the baffels out.

I have never seen so many positive comments about anything on you tube as there are about the honda fury I have one and its freaking gorgeous. Rides incredible. It would be a sin to change anything on it. There may only be one person who should not have one and that would be this narrator. he admits it handles great. he just keeps talking about changing it. DO NOT CHANGE anything. that engine, my friend who is a motorcycle instructor at the jr college and also a motorcycle mechanic, told me is the best Honda ever made. Its indestructible.

If I got one of those I'd throw the vtx 1800 motor in it to make up for power

I suggest a Suzuki Boulevard M109r testride. For a cruiser, its acceleration is ridiculous and you can feel your face pull from the G-forces. Comes with 127HP stock.

I have a 2016. Get way more looks and questions than any factory bike I've ridden. It's an awesome bike.

Choppers have been around since the 1950's and huge in the 60's and 70's. chopper comes from the the action of cutting the goose neck and adjusting the rack of the front forks. increasing the wheel base gives a smoother and more comfortable ride at the cost of handling at slow speeds in tight places. Choppers will always have a place in the motorcycle world they made fade for 20 years or so but they will be back.

The Fury might not look the best, but those 1300s can be tuned to make some decent power. Like you said it could make a fun chopper build.
