my '87 Samurai was a 1.3L. I built it into a rock crawler with 38.5s. Used Sidekick pumpkins in it, and a 4:1 kit in the tcase. turned those 38.5s no problem, and could wheel it ALL WEEKEND on 1/2 tank of gas.

Glad to hear that Samurai body is getting put to use. Way to solid to just part out and toss. Lots of peeps love them (including myself). I drove one of these for my first DUI machine when I was a kid. Been hunting for a good one for years but they go for a pretty penny for one that isn’t rusted to pieces up here near Chicago.

Same place mine went! 4:11 Some low belly, foot dragger keeps taking them! I screw 'em on pretty tight, can't see why I only loose them off one side of the vehicle. Always from the passenger side, which happens to be the driver's side where a person can look at my wheels and say, "Hmm, that reminds me, I lost a valve stem cap on the other side of my car. Just a thought: on the trailer build a roller that clamps to the angle iron. $500 for a sidekick whaaaat up where I’m at, a non running barely a roller is $1500 minimum. Dang that’s crazy Budget build yeah in your dreams bud yah know you’ll take to the Puddin Level, that’s why we watch yah bud.

Keep a look out for the cheep plastic mud flaps from a big truck or trailer, they kick ass when dragging junk onto the trailer we put them between the trailer deck and whatever your pulling on and it slides like ice
