This truck caught my eye . Too bad KZbin didn’t clue me of this video when you put it up . Sorry ‘bout that . Back in the early ‘90’s , I tuned one up for a guy in my old hunting club , yes , on opening day. Of course I had to take it on a test drive . The gap on those plugs were ridiculous , probably were factory and low maintenance . So , thats how I found out the truck never had a grease job . I dumped the clutch on some ice and the rear shaft slip yoke splines totally stripped out . Had to drive back in 4HI . I pulled the rear shaft off and we drove it back home ( 150 miles ) in 4 HI . I know , I know ….. but we didn’t want to flatbed it . The owner got a replacement rear shaft and was back in business like it never happened . Phenomenal little truck . I had a new found respect for 4 wheel mini’s .

Hey Lachlan, the barn find is still with us, it’s in the back of the shop on a lift. I’m hoping to get to it as soon as possible! We want to do a Time Machine eventually but we’re not sure to which one, maybe the barn find one? Thanks for watching my stuff!

I've found a samurai with a carburetor in my uncle's yard, but I couldn't let it idle down, it was stuck at 3000 rpm. Can you tell me know how to fix it? or where is the idle screw?

5 months late, but have you fixed this? Sometimes the timing is off a little and it can screw up the idle. You may just need to adjust the timing a bit.

It's almost painful watching you starve the engine of fuel .
