Well everything is a business in this world so if you believe anything you are no skeptical. I think I apply to be truly skeptical cause I don't believe in either. I doubt both modern science and religion. Read the following concepts of Buddha's teachings found in Kalama Sutta. 1. Don't trust religious books. 2. Don't trust religious leaders. 3. Don't trust rumours. 4. Don't trust just because your trusted one said it. 5. Don't even trust me, The Buddha. Now so called skeptics will agree to this. But Buddha also rejected to believe in authorities such as scientists since they are doing this to earn money. So if you want to be skeptical them show your skepticism towards everything. Just like me. I only do things that give me benifits and I read articles scientific like Healthline but I won't tell anyone that it's absolutely correct. According to Nietzsche, father of Nihilism (he was not actually a nihilist though), there are no facts only interpretations. But since religion failed you, you choose believing the opposite (science) over rejecting everything. Become an absurdist ( a philosophy by Camus which says everything is absurd) Sorry for the long comment.

And when I said making no it simply meant willing to consider an idea with unprejudiced attitude and how will willingness come to even consider a possible when you will have your own conclusion/prejudice about other so much so you're not willing to consider the idea. There are infinite possibilities, not all are equally likely, trying to separate the more likely ones from the rest is what you do when you use logic/statistics. Reason is what advances civilization. Polar star trails are circular, but it should be straight lines or some other abstract shape if earth is flying at 800,000 kmph speed. 11. So-called space videos are from balloons using a fish eye lens camera and from 3D softwares. 12. Moon's night side is same as sky instead of black. 13. "A live telecast of rocket attached with a regular lens camera going up atleast 20,000 km in altitude or upto whole earth comes in a single frame" has never happened, no one even tried. 14. Go fast rocket hit the dome about 98 km. 15. During solar eclipse the alleged moon's shadow is about only 100 km wide and it moves from west to east , north-east to south-west and many directions. 16. Not everything that is said in that light is definitely a cult practice. Here's a video I saw of the practice of Tumo, an advanced yogic practice and the monk clearly shows concerns of teaching it to the public. It's more to preserve a way of doing a process effectively. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mYa0XoaMZZ5lfa8 so don't jump to conclusions too soon my friend.... Not everyone in the world is out to con you...Secondly... obviously he didn't explain the benefits of Brahmacharya properly... Many Athletes performing in sports events abstain from sexual activity, it's more to do with the mental focus on whatever activity they are doing. The concept of yoga and words such as Ojas are more linked to self control, discipline to be able to control your mind. Obviously people who have immense control over their minds become very efficient and effective people and thus the benefits stated behind brahmacharya are mostly linked to will power and control over the mind and cravings. The concept of absorption of semen into the mind is not literal according to Patanjali. To him virya is more connected to self control and willpower than the actual liquid itself. It is a practice that's not just about abstinence from sexual pleasures rather having full control over any impulsive behaviors be it food, habits, routines. All of these are to restructure yourself to have an awareness of your self and the cravings of each of your senses. It is deep rooted within Yogic thought that you and your internal cravings are different. There might not be substantial proof for a soul but there definitely is proof for separation of different parts of the minds though they may seem as one unit.

It is the only religion in which the time scales correspond to those of modern scientific cosmology. Oh my my 😂 comparing Christianity to Hinduism. Hinduism has in fact evolved from most number of debates and scientific enquiries. You should know about the 6 Darshanas. Indian philosophers were (n are still) far ahead of western philosophers. Western philosophers were killed for speaking against orthodox practices (don't need to take names) Indian philosophers were celebrated on doing the same. Class apart. Christianity is fictional, Sanatan has involved like nothing other filled with Physics, Mathematics, Logic (Nyaya Vaiseshika school..did you even hear about them?) The Britishers have done their job well to spoil the minds of Indian youth. Mental slavery.

However, seeing your last line personally attacking me as ‘spoilt’ and “mentally enslaved” tells me you are intolerant of opinion that runs counter to yours. Ironic given your lecture on Hindu tolerance! To draw parallels is not to say that Hinduism and Christianity are the same. Hate to get personal but it’s precisely hypocritical intolerance and intellectual bullying by people like you that is stifling debate and progress in Hindu thought, which indeed was more tolerant and advanced than its peers many centuries ago.
@sai_692 жыл бұрын
@@professorelixir3351 cut short the bs, show me the evidence. Philosophy cannot be more or less ahead. It's not something that you can compare. The soul projection thing is actually them lucid dreaming. Lucid dreaming happens when you become conscious while dreaming in sleep. I deliberately induce it on myself because it's fun to control your dream obviously lol and apart from outside body experience you can also have superpowers, make world's or environment, shapeshift to different animals (my favorite entertainment in lucid dreaming), imagine people you would like to meet into existence and interact with them in your dream etc. Please note that all of this is your mind making up things in your dream and is not actually real. As much as fun it is, it also has its own dangers. It could reinforce false memories in your mind which could lead awkward situations in your life especially if you make up situation interacting with your friends or families in your lucid dream. I personally started practicing it to overcome my fear of darkness and height and it really helped me overcome my fears. I could link you the site teaching how to do it if you like.

How Beerbiceps finds SCIENCE in SPIRITUALITY | Pseudoscience Police **Introduction:** The video addresses Ranveer, popularly known as Beerbiceps, directly, expressing concerns about the potential spread of pseudoscience and misinformation in his content, especially related to spirituality. The critic acknowledges Ranveer's past positive influence in fitness content but contends that issues arose when he delved into spiritual topics. **Body:** 1. **Spirituality and Lack of Definition:** - The critic defines spirituality as a vague and undefinable concept, suggesting that its ambiguity allows various ideas to fall under its umbrella. - Argues against dismissing skepticism as close-mindedness, emphasizing the importance of rationality and evidence in evaluating ideas. 2. **Karma and Rebirth:** - Draws parallels between the concept of karma and the claim of an invisible, intangible unicorn in the room, emphasizing the lack of evidence supporting exceptional claims. - Challenges the idea of astral travel and rebirth by highlighting the absence of scientific evidence and proposing alternative explanations for reported experiences. 3. **Science and Spirituality:** - Critiques Ranveer's argument that science is not as advanced as perceived, emphasizing the need for evidence-based reasoning. - Raises concerns about the anti-science narrative and its potential impact on followers' trust in medicine, suggesting a dichotomy between Eastern and Western ideas that may not be valid. 4. **Pseudoscientific Endorsements:** - Analyzes Ranveer's endorsement of pseudoscientific ideas such as manifestation, law of attraction, and quantum mechanics, providing counterarguments and clarifying misconceptions. - Addresses the potential influence of such ideas on followers' beliefs in various pseudoscientific concepts. 5. **Sexuality and Energy Exchange:** - Criticizes the promotion of regressive ideas related to alpha males and the exchange of energy during physical intimacy. - Challenges the notion of energy exchange in yoga, branding it as clickbait and lacking evidence-based support. **Conclusion:** The critic urges Ranveer to consider the presented criticisms and encourages open dialogue. The video concludes with a call to support the critic's channel and highlights the intention to expand content production while expressing a desire for financial support from the audience. **Nuances and Controversies:** The critique acknowledges Ranveer's potential unintentional misinformation and attributes it to influences within his circles. It stresses the subjective nature of personal experiences in spiritual practices but also criticizes the potential harm in promoting pseudoscientific ideas. The video ultimately calls for a balanced, evidence-based approach to spiritual and scientific topics.

Reading david Griffith or any other book on quantum mechanics required rigorous background in mathematics, it is not cup of tea of people who believe in these kind of nonsense, yes at that time ancient india was usa of world like invention of zero , hindu numerical, pythagoras( budhiyana ) theorem, sushustra plastic surgery but discovering some geometry theorem and arthematic is different from discovering quantum physics and terms like spin , work , superposition, tunneling, entangled have very different meaning what we usually thought about them, you should have mathematical background for understanding these terms

They are running a con. Self-help and "spirituality" are an age old grift. Be attractive and sell people platitudes with confidence and you're set for life. You can get people to listen to you, you can sell products to those people, those people will reel in more people. Their extraordinary claims are a way to signal to the kind of people who are susceptible to them.

I think because the truth is not as exiting as these heavily spiced up stories. People want entertainment not knowledge but they want to pretend that they are doing this for knowledge and these people provide them.

Real spiritual growth is when you realise that science is the most important thing to understand what this world is all about.
@dhruvdust18123 жыл бұрын
Dude, I was into all this spirituality nonsense a while ago, I used to be fascinated by the existence of a study superior to science, but later on I just realized that it's merely bullshit. Luckily, I got rid of this thought process fairly early. It sucks how so many have fell into the traps of pseudoscience. Nowadays I just practice meditation and yoga, because I've noticed actual benefits, and there is sufficient evidential basis to back this up. But anytime I realize meditation and yoga is also BS, I will quit it without hesitation.

Loved the way you broke it down. Just a quick comment on the scientific branding of east vs. west, in which what comes from the east is usually laughed off and what comes from the west is taken seriously. This could be attributed to the outsized volume of pseudo mumbo jumbo that comes out of India compared to actual science and that the junk science here gets a larger megaphone on the global stage through the likes of Astrology, Ayurveda, Jaggi Vasudev, and Nithyananda. In comparison to this, the West pumps out a lot of scientific and innovative findings and applications compared to the trickle of crazy mumbo jumbo. Also, based off of my life in the West, a sizeable portion of people, including those in media and entertainment, will outright write off pseudoscience. Case in point is Alex Jones with his conspiracy theory and snake oil products. This rarely happens in India.

That's why its very difficult to help/share any experience or ideas on the matters of extrasensory, out of body or any spiritual experience. The perfect explanation is SILENCE. I've always thought of making a KZbin channel to share few of ideas I've learnt in the process from learning by many gurus but there are innumerous people who are gurus already and critics are simply doing their best. Spirituality should come very natural and it's very personal very very subtle, one should not suggest drag anybody into spirituality. By the way the critics are doing the same time waste as the person who is explaining its experience on spirituality.

Thank you for making videos like this, I used to be into all this a while back when I was a rather (vulnerable and depressed) teenager), and boy have I lost myself in the process. Teenagers are the biggest share of demographics of youtubers like Ranveer. I fell into this bs deep.down and bad during my low days in teens as well. The worst part is that it made me swell with superiority complex over others that i am dealing in something which might be a holy relic. Glad i became more rational and started taking everything and everyone with a pinch of salt. (Including Pranav)
@itsisha97622 жыл бұрын
@@rishis4275 Yes! The superiority complex is so real. Glad you could come out of it. I think it really is for people who are out of touch with reality. The ones who are privileged enough to control other vulnerable people and the the ones who are sheltered and don't know much about the world. I was a science student all my life- truth is. Anyone can fall for this crap. Even the most scienciest of them all. It's because they target areas humans don't know much about. It's the utter stupidity between the lines we gotta read to truly know why it's so damaging.

You're absolutely right Pranav that trying to fulfill society's unreasonable expectations is unhealthy for the individual. And there is no such thing like an absolute standard of superiority or masculinity. These are rather pre assumed ideas, prevalent beliefs and stereotypes. An individual's naturalness has to be the way of his life.
