​ @Hit The Road Madeira In between plans changed a lot. Argentina again in April, Madeira in August or September. Whole mess! December was just my own record-breaking month. Buenos Aires and Tigre in Argentina, Nueva Palmira, Montevideo and Piriapolis in Uruguay, Sao Paulo in Brasil. Lisbon, Coimbra to leave my stuff in my apartment, Porto, and Funchal in Portugal. So in 15 days I had a good comparison. I stayed for ten days in Santa Cruz. People is lovely. I wasn't there before. I'll tell you Madeira is heaven, really

Madeira is not large. It doesn’t even come close to the size of medium sized island like Ireland or Iceland or even Bali. When you land there (I was there) you could see the whole island. It is like a small mountain range suddenly rising out of the ocean. One of my favourite places I have visited. Such unique nature and landscape. It kind of looks like a combination of Hawaii, South Africa’s Cape Coast, and the Mediterranean and you see cool plants everywhere and all the cities are built uphill or downhill.

There’s a limit I believe and they can be quite strict, you’ll get your licence taken away and will probably pay a nice fine. have a drink or two, never on an empty stomach, and you should be fine ;)
