The Martial Law wasn't really that much of a hurdle when you think about it but in addition to historic rise in oil and gas prices in those times, that's what's really impressive about it. No matter the state the economy is, if your food is good, you will succeed. In addition to solid marketing and quality control, they grew slowly but surely.

Before the buy-out, Mang Inasal chicken is taking some of Jollibee's revenue. Jollibee created it's own inasal chicken to compete with Mang Inasal, but Mang Inasal is still gaining more costumers so Jollibee bought the competition.

Someone from Jollibee Mothership office should come and investigate the Jollibee branch in Makati Central Square. As a long time customer of that particular branch, I and some other customers noticed the some irregularities. Most common is lack of fries, no coke zero, ordering an item and getting something else, appearance of chicken looking like yesterday's leftover and many more. Very curiously, I once jokingly asked a staff, why don't you close and I was surprised by her reply that yes, they will be closing.... Well, because of these I don't go there anymore though it has always been my favorite hung out place.

Sa amin hindi ko na babalikan ang Jollibee sa fried chicken nila, noong bumili ako ng 6 pcs para sa katakawan o mukbang ko binigay sa akin puro breast at wings parts at ang dry ng laman, samantalang sa chowking kahit breast at wings parts hindi dry, kahit 50 php mas mahal sa kanila(400 vs 450 sa 6pcs). Hindi ko na babalikan at mas masarap yung chicken nila may lasa ng rin chickenjoy kaunti sa chowking pero mas masarap at mas malutong din. Tapos nauso pa pala ang platter naku dagdag pa sa lalamunin ko. Hahahah spaghetti platter at champ nalang bibilhin ko sa Jobee at fried chicken naman sa chowking plus platter nila chowfan at sweet & sour nila heheh.

To be fair it depends on the day, when it was cooked and the biggest factor is which branch it is. Jollibee(JFC as a whole)has good quality control but there are still branches with differing qualities in terms of Chicken size and of course the cooking.

F = F Filipinos = Foods Filipinos love eating. All moneys they earned just for food alone, non stop eating. They never consider Bread as meal. - 6 am, early in the morning they eat bread + coffee about 6 am. - 7 am, Breakfast, rice + sausage + eggs + dried fish. 7 am - 9:30 am, snacks time, bread, ricecakes, etc.. + softdrinks. - 12 noon, lunch time, Rice + Fish & Meat + softdrinks. - 3 pm, Snacks time, again Bread etc.. + Softdrinks - 6:30 pm, dinner Rice + meat + vegetables + beer - 9 pm, ballot, peanuts, etc... coffee..
