Best thing I've seen on complex in a long time. This guy's a legend.

Epic video. Really inspirational, the part that sold me is when his mentor told him you're good but don't do this... don't be good, be great.

Imma struggling tattoo artist in NJ with a stable job but watching this inspires me to quit. U gotta grind and sacrifice so u can keep your sanity. Do what u love or you will live with regret.

ArtGod yeah but don’t forget how it all started from hustling the first shop manager with BS. Not hating on it but a lot of artists such as yourself are pure and honest and business oftentimes requires BS’ing which is how they got their initial momentum. Respect to the guys for their business hustle game and mad respect to the lawyer who gave that life changing advice of focus your life energy on doing what you love since we all have limited time on earth. Peace

@DREAMS NETWORK I'm a black dude too and I just started at my first streetwear company. Yeah, I'm the only one in the office, but fuck it, I'm there. We're unfortunately not entitled to the opportunities, despite what our ancestors have worked so hard for; we just gotta take it. Don't give up on anything you want to do.
