My risk is 1.1% 5 yr and 5.9% lifetime risk. I do have dense tissue and had my last mammogram in March. I’m glad they will be letting us know the level now. I’ve never been told anything g other than they are very dense. Thanks for the information and the link to the test.

This video was so very informative and extremely important! The information you just gave in 15 minutes was more information than I received from both my physician and the nurse at mammogram/ultrasound! Explanation’s are extremely important. Information is power ladies!

Dr Susan thank you for this information. I wonder did you follow up with akkermansia levels after taking the supplement?

I enjoy all of your content. I'm surprised no mention of abbreviated Breast MRI which are now offered that are shorter and cheaper, though I think they require contrast.

Please get your mammogram and colonoscopy as well. I have dense breasts. I got the call back last year. They had to redo and then an ultrasound afterward. PTL, it was just a lymph node. It's that time again. I am not very excited to see how dense my breasts are this year, though. We have to do it, though. Prayers and blessings for all.

In my country, an ultrasound is automatically done along with the annual mammogram once you have dense breasts. I have to do mine every 6 months. So far, only cysts that come and go, but it's always a little scary.

That questionnaire didn’t ask about breast density? Did I miss it? I have level D with multiple biopsies.

One question: do pregnancies versus live births change any outcomes/percentages?

I was told at my last mammogram that I had dense breasts, but I don't recall being told what level (you mentioned levels C or D). Does this specificity come with the 3D mammograms?

I’ve been told I have very dense breasts but never given a grade. I always get the 3D. I would like to know as well.

I was told I had dense breasts years ago but now I’ve lost tissue there due to aging and no hormones. Would my risk have changed or is it retroactive to what you once had?
