The problem started from day one when the three initial political parties represented the three regions. Guess what, everyone voted for his tribesman. North was bigger than SW and SE combined. This led to politics of ethnicity - ethnicity became a tool for political power. But I believe corruption is our number one problem. The north that have ruled the longest have the worst education and infrastructure in the whole of Nigeria. The northern elites makes it look like the south is their problem in order to perpetuate themselves in power. The southerners are fooled into thinking that the north is their problem while their sons ruling as governors are looting and pallying with their northern colleagues behind closed doors. But it's too late now. Many Yoruba wants to leave the union - thanks to the worst leader in the history of Nigeria, Buhari.

@@goldendigitalmediapro You ought to apportion most of the blame to Zik who made sure the option of secession which Chief Enahoro proposed wasn't adopted. Look at igbo leaders today who can't even speak against Fulani massacre of igbos in their own land. They sit by as the army and police commits war crimes in igbo land for no reason. It took sw govs like Akeredolu to speak against the genocidal threats of igbos by buhari. Igbos must look at the man in the mirror. Historically and currently the igbos are also responsible for how things are

If we couldn't live together or have a common ground, how is the future any great ?. Imagine how Africa would be severely splintered ,if we all had our independent states. Pitting northern Nigeria with the south ,is far ahead of it's time, and we must do all we can to live up to it....we must realise that it's our way to a prosperous future for all!.

Exactly. Not only Nigeria but all those so called commonwealth countries. Mugabe saw all this and refused to play along and every one saw how the whole of Zimbabwe under Mugabe suffered collective punishment. All governments of the former British colonies and protectorates belong to the Crown Corporation of the City of London and this is based in what is known as the square mile. Now this is and independent enclave separate from London the capital of England. This enclave also owns all the judiciaries which are BAR accredited franchises. Now most central banks worldwide right from the USA are privately owned corporations owned by the Rothschilds family. Now these central banks set economic and fiscal policies for their respective countries. Whenever African leaders talk of austerity measures which means cutting down on essential services: health, education, infra-structure, etc... and increased borrowing to service previous loans from the IMF and the world Bank which also privately owned believe it or not! and increased military spending, they do so at the behest of their masters based in London, the Vatican and Washington D.C. The City of London, the Vatican City and Washington District of Columbia form what is termed as the Three City State Empire! There are distinct roles for each of these three city states. The city of London deals with global finance, the Vatican city deals with Spiritual matters especially the capturing of soles/souls and DNA of all those born in hospitals and who were issued with birth certificates and Washington DC deals with military affairs that explains why the US corporation has established more than 800 military bases for conquest of resources which is softly called establishing and safeguarding democracy. Countries which truly seek to be free by controlling their central banks are portrayed to the world as dictatorships oppressing their citizens. You see recent examples of countries like Libya, Iraq, the DPRK or North Korea, Syria, the federal republics of Russia, Syria, the Islamic republic of Iran are portrayed as having bad dictators for presidents. See what has happened to Iraq, Libya, Syria etc... They refused to have Rothschild privately owned foreign central banks in their countries hence the troubles they are facing. There is a lot to talk about but let me stop here. Look up the pdf version of the Economic Hitman. To help you have an idea of what is going on behind the scene of our governments.

The evidence is simple. Ask yourself how a nation can have a national debt and yet it is supposedly in charge of printing and controlling its monetary supply and economic policies? Why do African governments accept IMF loans with strings attached? African leaders play the roles of CEOs of franchises known as governments. Ask yourself why and how was Thomas Sankara able to achieve so much with little and within a short period of time? Thomas Sankara refused to be bullied and worked openly for and with the Burkinabe people.

@@benyahudi3183 not only did you mean to say that a dollar is 400 naira, you failed to account for monetary inflation. Forget currency conversation. If $100 spent in 2021 buys 1 suit. If $100 in hand back in 1921 would secure 5 suits. In order to obtain in 2021 what one could obtain in 1921 for the same nominal amount requires applying an inflationary multiple be that 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 times - all depending on the currency history. Exchange rate between $ and naira to capture nominal amount today would be secondary - determine inflationary figure in primary currency first then convert. There are no idiots here - just those willing or unwilling to learn. All Hail Biafra ✊🏾

Better example. In 1990 a home is purchased for $10000 or &20000 ($1 = &2 in 1990). In 2020 stories are being written about the purchase. The home is on the market in 2020 for $400000 (price inflation). To buy equivalent home in 2020 you need this much in $. In 2020 $1 = &300. So in 2020 the purchase of that home (&20000 in 1990 or &3,000,000 in direct 2020 rate conversion - good to know but not useful) would require spending $400,000 x 300 = &120,000,000 in 2020 adjusted for exchange rate and inflation. These adjusted numbers give you a fairer sense of the type of purchasing power associated with the original numbers taken from history.
