You'll have to equalize your ears as your sinking and not likely you'll be able to keep them equalized fast enough because your ear drums won't have time to stretch safely without damage, due to the car sinking so fast. Better go scuba diving a few times and hit 100 feet deep before the big day, ear pain isn't fun. And on top of everything else no guarantee the car wouldn't flip over while sinking. Definitely dangerous for sure.

I'd love to shoot with you guys!!! I've only ever managed a .270 Sauer, 3 round mag, semi-floating barrel, expanding ammo, Swarovski crystal optics 4-12x48 scope at 500m- A4 classic target. I put 2 in the 10 and the 3rd clipped the 9/10 ring. If you flew me out, it'd be a little more costly - I'm in the UK.! 😂 Awesome video though, looked like hellishly good fun.... This video caught my eye because I’m very interested in what firearms do to the human body, and ballistics gel is a fascinating way to study this. Shooting a gun actually makes me nervous. Call it fear, respect, or probably a combo of both! By far the best part of this whole video is the pure, child-like wonder and excitement of Rob and his friends. Everyone should have a chance to feel this way about something they love!

@@clintonphilippus1501 He didn't say anything about green tips, he said FMJ, which don't hurt AR500 target steel as long as the range is correct and velocity low enough (ie not M193 at 100yds, that'll pit the steel). Pistol targets are still AR500 but thinner usually, so you just have to worry about bending them when shooting them with anything that's not a pistol.

I have 2 50Cal. that my grandpa gave me after he turned them into salt and pepper shakers... They came from Korea, he was a Korean War Vet 2nd Infantry Division... Honorably Discharged When He Was Blown Off A 50ft Cliff... Almost killed him but by the grace of God he was with us until 2016 at the age of 88 and til his last breath still remembered the Serial Number On His Gun That Shot That 50Cal. Consider buying a better slow motion camera and focus on it. Do more slow mo shots ,better angle ,everybody loves it. I don't remember the site. But there's mixtures for making your own ballistics gell. To effectively catch a 50bmg. You'd be better off with 4 - 6 blocks at a size of 1.5'-2'(h) x 2'(w) x 3'-4'(d). That way if the bullet curves. It has room to run while carrying all that inertia. To increase your odds of catching it, push that stack of gell out to 900-1.2k yrds.

In high school I actually used ballistics gel for a science project to show the most effective cartridges for 3 different calibers at causing damage to the gel. (.380, 9mm Para, and .45ACP. Surprise, surprise: hollow points were the best)

Homogenized Human? Definitely pasteurized. These blocks are rather long and narrow. If your barrel is close enough, you can expand and dirty a wound with muzzle flash. Every new channel in ballistics gel is another pilot hole for the next projectile. Those blocks are really long and narrow. 1 - range catch

If you put aluminum foil under the clear gel you'll get better lighting for the high speed camera. The P90 was developed to replace the carbine and sidearm of non Infantry troops, such as Artery, tank,helicopter crews. Each magazine carries 50 rounds. And takes up far less space than a carbine and pistol.

The first test with a catapult (slingshot) was actually done wrong. I have notice that you have to give the catapult the proper distance for the projectile (steel shot or bearing) to he maximum speed and energy; standing a few feet away isn't going to work, you will just pull "A Christmas Story" all over again.

If you got back at least 25-30 yards so that the rounds have enough time to get up to speed, I think they'll go into the gell much further. And the red plastic tips are to help with accuracy. So they're basically doing the damage of a hollow point, but without the red and some green plastic inserts/tips, they wouldn't be very accurate after like 45-50 yards.

Idea: take multiple blocks and melt them in a larger container. The bigger the block, the cooler it’ll be. You can then shoot more rounds in the block, as well as bigger rounds that may contain even a 50 cal. I think it would be cool to see different rifle rounds stacked on top of each other showing their effect at different ranges. A block big enough to contain a 50 cal would be sick.

One- you will need to make at least a 3x3x3 block of ballistics gel for a chance of catching a .50. So, you may need at least 24 more blocks. You will also need to keep them under some short of shade because they work best when cool.

I would suggest anyone who carries everyday or is looking to get a carry gun to watch some super slo mo ballistics gel videos to compare calibers and understand the difference between full metal jacket bullets and defensive ammo. ok, one question is was it a 223 round or a 5.56 round? because you stated before firing the rifle it was a 223 but after you fired the rifle and cleared the chamber it was a 5.56 and the table is melting because your firing the pistols & rifles at a close range and the black streeks are GSR.s for those that don't know what GSR is its gunshot residue and no one is going to shot a person that close try shooting them from a distance
