My all-time favorite candy bar. But in recent years, I've bought quite a few that were so hard I couldn't bite them. That certain texture is very important.

Once cooled and cut into bars, each piece is carefully coated with smooth, melted chocolate. This luscious outer layer perfectly complements the peanut butter crunch inside, creating the iconic Butterfinger flavor.

Yum, I never knew the process behind making Butterfingers was so cool! 🍫😋 Watching how that crispy, peanut buttery center gets coated in chocolate is almost hypnotic! 😍✨ Do you think the secret to its unique crunch is in the making or the ingredients? 🤔 What’s your favorite part of a Butterfinger - the crunch or the peanut butter filling?

What is the difference between Clark Bars and Butterfingers?
@unclebubba18722 ай бұрын
Clark bars are the original from which Nestle slightly altered the recipe, essentially stealing it. It's basically a large corporation profiting from the invention of a smaller one.
@Products_Uncovered2 ай бұрын
The main difference is that Clark Bars have spun taffy in them where as butterfingers do not!
@mathewmue5547Ай бұрын
They have a "new recipe". Tastes more like a peanut butter bar and less like a butterfingers. Wish they didn't mess with them
@brega6286Ай бұрын
What do they do with the rejects ?
@Products_UncoveredАй бұрын
Sadly I couldn’t find a specific answer but I would imagine they just get thrown out since they’re probably too far in the factory process to reuse the ingredients

It comes from the sticky peanut butter mixture that is the main component of butterfingers

Why are you showing Clark bars?

The Clark Bar¹⁹¹⁷ actually predates Butterfingers¹⁹²³, and both use very similar process to create the center of their candies. While they have somewhat evolved in their processes and differentiated, the resemblance is notable. Plus it widens the pool of b-roll he's able to use. Two birds one stone 🤷

@@MannyBots Be that as it may, the video does not mention Clark. The video just shows Clark with no explanation. Very puzzling.

Why do you care?
@unclebubba18722 ай бұрын
Kudos on paying homage to the Clark Bar. The Clark Candy Co was a small but successful candy company in Pittsburgh, PA. Nestle copied the recipe (with miniscule alterations) and, having a much larger advertising budget, were able to move their version, the Butterfinger, to its place in snack history. At the end of the day, this is just another example of a large corporation stealing & profiting from the labor and innovation of a smaller one.

So …. Clark bars are the very same as butterfinger ??!!!?! I knew it … not much of a difference… and I thought the crispy inner parts were made from corn flakes ….

No. Clark Bars are the original. Nestle basically stole the recipe and rebranded it as the Butterfinger. See my comment in the main thread.

Old, old stock footage. Narrator talks about Butterfingers but shows Clark bars. Nestlé does not make Butterfingers anymore or any of their iconic chocolate bars. Nestlé sold all their candy bars to Ferraro in 2018. I used to work for them. None of the bars taste the same or as good anymore. It’s difficult to even say crunch bars without saying Nestlé Crunch.
