Great sounding amp. For something that costs the same as a car it should. Resale return for this would be miserable. My 6505+ 120w cost $800 and destroys. Nice to see these innovations but who are they catering to with a $6,384.00 amplifier? To much ouch for my taste and I own a ton of studio rack gear. Awesome demo as always John.

I use it with a Fryette Power Load IR at home. I have to keep the master volume down to not clip the internal IR, but to me it sounds great anyway. You can use it to higher volumes with an external IR. And to heat your flat in the winter. It might be overkill, considering you could get an Axe FX or something for less money. But what I like about the GBG120 is the immediacy of the controls. It really is nice to twist the knobs without the feeling you could destroy your "one setting" as the controls are usable to their end positions and are not just working at one setting and 5° left or right. You can turn the EQ knobs all the way up and down and it does something useful.

hm. ok. its great. is it better? no reference. comparison vids dont pay. itsok, your a salesman, a great one. but to charge 3500 for a amp full of microcontrollers... and not INCLUDE MIDI# in 2024? what is this? anyone selling smthg above 400 with dsp and microcontrollers inside charging extra is either lazy or greedy. revoloutionary? well, if someone claims that hughes and kettner probably did it decades ago, and flopped caus guitarists are a bit backwards. Check out the Hughes and kettner ACCESS Amp. midi stereo, digitalfx... when did that com out? so ZUTA: LAME. pseudo innovative. does it sound better then a diezel? Triamp? no comparison possible. otherwise ZUta, bravo for trying pushing the envelope again. but everything sounds very familiar.

I get that this amp is cool... But $4k for a head? Just stupid. Too expensive for an age where budget gear is sounding just as good. You will have almost all the sound options and more from the Positive Grid Spark, yes not the 120 watts of tube power, but $3800 in your pocket.

Just my opinion but I think Positive Grid has some of the worst modeling out there. Absolutely horrible...

Why is it? Every single amp is made to make those noises, whatever happened to a good blues and tone.

To me I wouldn't pay this much for this amp . A. Resale value wouldn't be worth it vs a good ole marshall
