As an ENP, I relate to your struggle Chase. However, as someone who does not believe in drinking alcohol myself, I would not go the quick route. I choose the longer route, and I have already been practicing now for many months, probably a year or more, getting myself gradually out of my comfort zone of shyness by talking to more people (often or usually just one at a time) or by talking again to people I have not talked with for weeks or much much longer. I of course only do that with people I can get along with/do not have a problem with, or people I believe I can work out any arguments, disagreements, misunderstandings or issues with (except for my parents, but hopefully I will be out of that rut soon). Thank you very much for this video!

@Moondust Ni is more objective then Ne as Ni make use of reality or common pattern that can be found in the present to form abstraction so those abstraction that is made by Ni is more consistent while Ne make use of their own experience to form abstraction hence why he recommended to drink alcohol because that is based upon his experience.Of course there is use of subjectivism from Ne but tbh just because that is based upon his experience doesn't mean it will work with everyone cuz his Ne perceive that it will work with everyone based off his own experience. And btw Ti above doesn't make him accurate though just because it's above Fe, like chase have said if you feed garbage data to Ti then it will produce garbage output regardless where it's in the stack hence why his Infj mentor had slash his bs belief system to the ground.What you are complimenting though is his Fi moral values reflected to his Ti.I do found his content informational so don't get the wrong idea Fi child.

Have to thank you for this advice, I've been wondering how to address a situation my ENFP boss didn't know how to handle, she projected her fears onto me over meeting supposedly conflictive parents as a teacher. I'm also an ENFP so I understand how my bosses have made mistakes in the past and have put me in this bad situation, I've been trying to prepare all the Te to deal with any given conflict, but I only started 2 days ago. I should have known as a coach that my INFJ unconscious would be able to deal with this by using the socratic method. Many thanks as always Chase, keep up the good work!

loving the humor in the thumbnails but sad for what it means. Was hopeful for the safe guard your relationship content if it didn’t have polygamy, but afraid that went up in flames personally affecting professionally. A pattern to note here. INFJs you tell not to wear Masks because any one worth their salt should accept them flaws and all. but for yourself to find “success” you recommend masking who you really are and then are surprised when that continues further down the line in a relationship that no one wants to know who you are. so I don’t think it’s quite accurate to only be responding but I think you are completely right in that following your natural role is healthy but a secondary follow up would be how do you initiate and when do you include yourself and when are you around people not wanting to reach their potential and you need to move onto people interested in your potential. you are right that we are self-absorbed and everyone needs to learn how to listen and I really appreciate how SI inferiors listen so well. At the same time you don’t listen so well when you aren’t focused on it and getting ne to focus is a fun exercise holding on for dear life as you move at lightning speed topic to topic and often someone else speaking provides a platform for you to think on. I hate the separation of the sexes with a passion. But I realize I’m not aware of sexual dynamics of men and I love connecting deeply emotionally which is confusing and dangerous even with women much less men. I think friends of your spouse if you have a solid boundary where you would not cuck them And they comment on your sibling like relationship giving you the go ahead… The group dynamics of a marriage friendship can be such a rewarding exchange. Have had this for a few sweet moments but seasons and times pass on. Next to that the professional relationship where there’s all kinds of boundaries where your job would be on the line. I know that doesn’t keep people in check but if it did these can be such awesome relationships like a second family with a mission or ministry.

@dannyman2k2 жыл бұрын
Could this also apply to ENFPs? I imagine so, but i wonder if there's any nuances between them and ENTPs that might make a difference. Funny you mention alcohol though, because I'm usually hesitant to have a drink or 2 in social situations because I'm afraid ill come off a drunkard or something. Though now that you say it I'm certain that some liquid courage would come in handy, ESPECIALLY with those situations where an attractive girl is in your midst. recently though, i was getting my haircut... which usually requires SOME conversation unless you're comfortable with agonizing awkward silences and eye-contact. I found myself scrambling for conversation topics, and i was really worried because i was attracted to the girl cutting my hair, Even though I didn't really have any intent to do anything about it. THEN I remembered the F.O.R.D acronym. I usually have no idea how to incorporate it, but i found myself flowing with it. It actually kinda works. F.O.R.D: - Family, Occupation, Recreation, Dreams. If you can broaden those topics and find someway to incorporate them in your conversation it'll work surprisingly well. Gave myself a little pat on the shoulder. Noice!

@@CSJoseph My experience and observations are quite different, I also have some knowledge about human physiology. Some day I will write a book about this topic for sure. I had severe mental issues in my past and I was abusing some substances mainly alcohol, nicotine and caffeine along with psychiatric medications. I also tried weed and amphetamine. And all of that substances, mixed or alone, helped me go to my subconcious. Now I am mentally in very good place and they don’t work the same as they used to. If I have been used some substance, I would experience panic attack about how my brain seems impaired and I am loosing control over my mind and my body. I can’t drink even coffee now because of that, but it is great. I have hipothesis that every psychoactive drug, both uppers and downers impaires your ability to use your first pair of functions, so you end up in subconcious. Maybe when you take very large dose you can impaire your second pair of functions and end up in the shadow. I have never experience that (or I can not remember) and also I was not shadow fokused. Also I’m introvert so I have low dopamine tolerance and I used less substances than my extraverted friends. Mixing uppers and downers can be dangerous because you don’t experience side effects, for example you will experience sleepiness after only drinking alcohol, but with mixture of alcohol and amphetamine you won’t. And you are able to drink more. Maybe so unbelievably great amount that third pair of functions don’t work and you can end up in super-ego. Besides that I just want to add that the world needs Si inferior, I personally love it so much (yes, I am INTJ). That shyness that you taking about is adorable, especialy if you aproaching women that are introverts (remember we are shy too). For us it’s hard to relate to men that are too cocky.

How on earth can you tell if you're an NTJ or an NTP? I've been following Chase for a long time and can type others well but not myself. Hardcore Shadow focused because their is no double dose of functions for me. Literally have given my friends and fam Chase's grid and test and everyone says I'm both sides of the coin and I have to agree while I also have no real preference though that's what it's all mostly about. If you know for a fact that you're Entp/Intp or Entj/Intj how and why? I switch modes on a dime with zero issue. Watched all Chase's vids multiple times over and always come up with INTP though for some reason I'm still not sure. Any help is appreciated
@azum74162 жыл бұрын
if you don't care about what other people are feeling or other people feelings are not affecting you then you're an NTJ but if you don't care about what other people logic or their thought process that much then you're an NTP. Another way to determine this is by asking yourself whether you are overfeelings stuff or overthinking stuff. Fe user overfeeling things because other people emotions are affecting their own emotions or self worth thus why NTP can feel guilty really quickly especially INTP. Te user overthinking stuff because there are a lot of reference point or data that are affecting their thought process because those reference point or data are either not enough or constantly changing which can make them seeking out unnecessary information or unrelated information just to form their conclusion because they don't a pre-existing conclusion, Ti user however don't overthink it because they already know what kind of data to search for because they already have a pre-existing conclusion that they want to prove in their head but if they don't find any data to support their conclusion then they will reject their pre-existing conclusion.

We where never given the ability to have a relationship with somebody Purely based of " I like them " because nature never saw a point into that .In Mother's nature point of view between " I like him/her" and" I like him/her and fuck him/her " there is no difference. Every friendship between the two genders is a more or less an in between mating attemp because the fact that you feel attracted to that person enough so to try to get to know them proves that in your mind subconsciously you saw them as a "possible mate" if not you wouldn't even talk to them .
