Nadav is a former Israeli soldier who served in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) special forces. He is now the Senior Director of Breaking the Silence Israel, an organisation that is dedicated to ending the Israeli occupation of Palestine.
Breaking the Silence publishes testimonies from soldiers who have served in the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem to expose the reality of everyday life in the Occupied Territories. To date, they have collected over 1,400 testimonies from soldiers across all the units that operate in the territories. They also hold public lectures, meetings, and events to spread awareness amongst the Israeli public.
Aaron is an international development practitioner passionate about youth participation in governance and decision-making and has served in leadership roles for diverse youth-focused initiatives. He is currently the Project Manager for the STAR Ghana Foundation which is working to create an equitable and inclusive society in Ghana. The foundation has supported 232 partner organisations across every district in Ghana and impacted sectors like education, women’s welfare, rural development and governance.
