Would have made more sense for him to skip Vegas and get it done sooner. Spoke to someone who works in Orthopaedics and apparently it’s 8-12 weeks before he can start playing or training. If the rib injury is anything to go by he’ll push himself to come back sooner, which could mean he’s not at his best, so hopefully he’s fully healed this time.

Our midfield and defense is much more solid now than th start of last season. We should be fine until he returns.

We definetly need a upgrade up front, its about time once and for all we got a partner for mullin who can play alongside him and scores goal to take some of the pressures off the lad, mullin has rarely had a regular scoring partner alongside him, palmer, dalby, marriott, fletcher all chipping in with the odd goals, but nowhere near enough, we relying on one man in the striker department to get us the goals and to keep us in away games and have done for 3 seasons, surely it needs to change. With also this injury news which is a huge blow a quality striker has to be top priority now or we going to struggle up top, while he is not playing mullin.

Read your x post regarding the Wrexham academy. Disappointing, to say the least. There's no point in pressing on to the next level until they get this sorted. They need to begin to establish a pipeline of young talent.

Seems to me that the club may have got Marriot in last year knowing that Paul Mullin would be out for a long spell. They are like for like player.

If you have any pull you should try to lobby for George Abbot and Leo Black from Spurs u23's on loan for the season. Both guaranteed to be more than good enough for League 1.

5-3-2 with wingbacks you need them to be mainly offensive or you'll suffer even more. It's on your centrebacks to cover in behind. So I would say it's more a cb-issue than a wb-issue really. Or a complete system-error actually.

Brunt will slot in for toc at midfield. Toc will move to lcb.

According to the Mansfield matters guy on FiD brunt is really a cb rather than a cdm.
