The scene of him in Endgame looking out over Wakanda with his mother and sister at peace is how I see him now in the afterlife. He wasn’t a king because he played one, he was a king because he inspired millions to aim higher. To tear down barriers and build bridges. He was a King He was a Superhero More than that, he was a kind, generous and loving man His name was Chadwick Boseman. Rest In Peace your highness, we will carry on the fight for equality for you. Wakanda Forever!!!!!!!

@Gubba Bump Who says that people that aren't actors are not getting the respect they deserve once we get to know their story? You can't tell me that the medical staff that is trying to help people, especially this year with Covid 19, are not appreciated for their efforts. Chadwick Boseman is a person just like you, me, Commentate or Geddy Schacher but because he was an actor, people should disregard him because others say so. You're free to feel the way you want but don't try to impose your will on others just because you're upset that people of all ages, not only kids, choose to mourn his death and give their respect for what he did on and off the screen.

Chadwick Boseman is not just an American Hero, he is an International Hero. Black Brazilian children from the favelas flocked to the movie theaters in the posh areas of Sao Paula to watch Black Panther. Black children from FrancAfrique countries like Ivory Coast, English speaking countries like Nigeria, Portuguesse speaking countries like Angola, Creole speaking countries like Haiti and Spanish speaking countries like Cuba have lost THE SOMEONE...Deepest condolences to his family, friends and his team.

Chadwick Boseman cared about the quality in storytelling and that's what he always focused on. In a way he was directing at the same time while acting in all his films. He is an icon in his own right just like Bruce Lee, Mohammad Ali, Martin Luther King Jr., and many other icons. The underrated Marvel animation film Ultimate Avengers: Rise of the Black Panther where you get a moment with T'Chaka showing his son T'Challa the hall of Kings that took the mantle of the Black Panther and now he belongs in that lineage for sure. For the iconic larger than life roles he chose he looked at the subtleties and nuances and made sure he got those qualities right. Like Marlon Brando you can see he injected part of his life into the roles he portrayed.

All of my indescribable inner feelings were already imparted by others here but... I can’t help but wonder why I’m still feeling so sad, because I barely even knew Chadwick before. I wasn’t even a Marvel fan, although I did watch Black Panther. But this really hurt! ‼️ I suppose what makes me the most emotional is witnessing the impact Chadwick had on people, from little kids to famous celebrities to his fellow co-actors. In such a short lifetime, his genuine talents in innumerable films gave hope, a character to look up to. 💔 Not to mention that he was exactly as genuine in real life, doing so many things for others both on and off screen all while battling stage 4 colon cancer. Not once did he ever speak out about his own battles, his own pain, even when met with loving admirers who suffered from the same illness. Suffering himself, Chadwick visited and donated to children cancer hospitals. And not even when he was being made fun of for his weight loss did he speak out. That takes courage and humility. 😭😖 In many interviews with him that I’m now binging to make me laugh, I can physically and spiritually feel his regal aura. That’s why he irreplaceably played King T’Challa so magnificently...because he was a real life hero and king himself. Such grace, such poise! I’m one of many when I admit that his very presence was regal, dignified, and commanding of respect. ✊🏼 Yet he didn’t get puffed up himself, on the contrary, his face showed a sincere modesty. His smile and laugh is beautiful and unforgettable, almost contagious. But what I remark most of all is his eyes. His director Ryan Coogler said he had “eyes that seen much beyond his years, but could still sparkle like a child seeing something for the first time.” 🥺💓 I could only imagine what it would be like to meet him. I never cared to consider it until now. He always seemed very wise and loving. I guess that’s what such a battle of cancer does to you. It completely changes ones inner perspective of life....and maybe that’s why Chadwick made the most of his short time, really as if he “froze time”. He knew. He was a perfect balance of firmness and warmth. He never really had to raise his voice in roles as his magnetic aura commanded attention and respect. 👏👏 And I profoundly respect him for everything he accomplished, everything he endured. I’m certain he will be rewarded in eternity. No matter what, he kept that purpose and faith he spoke of. “When God has something for you, it doesn’t matter who stands against it.” So inspiring! So true! 🙏🏼 Despite my sorrow that continues, I’m comforted that he was prepared for his death. Nothing was unexpected or sudden for him, and he passed in his own home surrounded by loved ones. Not to mention such an important and fateful day God chose him to die on! Nothing is random. God knows everything without fail! It had to be the right time for Chadwick, because if he hadn’t fulfillled his purpose yet, he wouldnt have died. Now, no more cancer. Still, I’ve been crying for this entire week. Death is hard, its like a separation. In reality, Chadwick Boseman has nothing to do with me, but all these things I mentioned of him hit me hard. So hard. And still these words are not enough to express myself accurately. Nothing I say could ever describe how I feel for Chadwick. But then again-how could you ever properly describe a king? Let us never forget this lesson his life has taught us: We never know what somebody’s going through, so never judge! God Bless you, my dear Chadwick. King T’Challa. The one and only Black Panther. My heartfelt pain goes out to your wife and family. Rest in power and perfect peace!! Thank you for everything, and I hope one day I’ll be worthy enough to see you. 💔 The world truly misses the absence of your light. WAKANDA FOREVER! 👑🕊

I really enjoyed watching Chadwick Boseman, on TV, especially Black Panther, it breaks my heart that I have to say goodbye to him like this. I’ve always loved Chadwick Boseman, he really showed a great example for me of how talented he was as the Black Panther, one of my favorite MARVEL superheroes. Every time when I wear his Black Panther, t shirt I think of him and how talented he was as the Black Panther, and how I think of him in Black Panther, Captain America Civil War, and Avengers Infinity War, and Avengers Endgame. I’m really going to miss you man and I hope to see you again soon and hopefully we can meet each other someday. I will always think of you when I wear your Black Panther, t shirt like I am right now.

That clip when he comes out the elevator onto the talk show (Jimmy Kimmel ?) did you see him clenching his right hand repeatedly and grimacing? That was pain! By the time he sat down he was smiling. 😭. When he had his hand on his stomach or inside his jacket near his wait. Heartbreaking to notice that now.

In my opinion, Chadwick didn't just PLAY T'challa. He WAS T'challa. They had the same ethics, compassion, integrity, deep-thinking, humor, and fortitude. Every time I watch "Black Panther", I feel a sense of awe over how he was able to squeeze into that skin-tight costume, while he must've felt like absolute crud from the chemotherapy, especially in his stomach. When they first announced his death, I felt so heartbroken for his family, and also for all the little kids out there that looked up to him. I'm sure he would've been incredibly touched by the outpouring of love, and I like to imagine that his message for his youngest fans would've been similar to the one Mufasa gave little Simba in "The Lion King": "Look at the stars. The great kings of the past look down on us from those stars. So, whenever you feel alone, just remember that those kings will always be there to guide you, and so will I." (7/27/2022)
