US people say Chinese people don't have human rights and freedom of speech because they can't criticize the government or the leader, which is a claim that most Chinese people laugh about. If the government provides you great infrastructures, good health-caring, and a decent quality of life if you simply work hard, do you have any intentions to criticize the government? If you still have, that's your own problem, not the government's.
@obambagaming14672 жыл бұрын
Also you are allowed to criticise the goverment in china. Not as much as in western countries ofc but you still can to a certain degree. But if you give people and independent media too much freedom, you will end up like the US, where some TV channels are legally allowed to radicalise their viewers.
@wangdaren-ts8hl2 жыл бұрын
In China you can criticize the government at will, and you can find a lot of criticism of the government on the Chinese Internet. China just doesn't allow comments that are funded by the West to exploit grievances and try to overthrow the government.

This IS shocking to me, in a good way. I was in this area of Inner Mongolia in 2008 visiting a recreational sand park and was told that the desert was creeping eastward at a pretty good clip. In fact, much of the mistiness in Beijing in the early summer was caused by sand blowing off the desert, and harvesting tree branches to plant new trees was just getting off the ground (or into the ground, actually). I'm happy to see this vast greening up, which as far as I know was not discussed or expected at that time. This is what can happen when government and people work to accomplish something worthwhile. Pay attention, USA!

Unfortunately due to propaganda in my country (Germany), I don't know how bad the economic crisis in china (lockdown and banks) really is. But for some reason there are some people in my country (and even some politicians) who literally wish China to have a huge economic and financial crisis and instability. Despite them being our biggest trading partner. Without china, our economy would collaps. Germany is already facing a big energy crisis. It's just stupid and suicidal to wish our biggest trading partner to collapse.
