I made some about 5 years ago and they were delicious, much better than bought ones. If any faults when mine had been steamed they were Massive! Too big really but so worth it. My char Sui was made the traditional way and since then all my char Sui seems to get used in other ways, any buns I’ve had since have been bought frozen. Now after watching your (quick filling recipe) I’m inspired to make some more. Thanks. X God Bless you and keep you safe and healthy x

Your bun color, light yellowish????? How come I eat one's in dim sum restaurant totally white, beautiful. The filling is deliciously red.

They use bao flour, if you use normal cake flour the buns are yellowish. It's also because I didn't use milk and white castor sugar. The filling is red because they put red food coloring. Anyways I'll improve next time😅
