I am a young adult black woman in college. Escaping the propaganda of 2020 was one of the most tumultuous things I’ve ever experienced. Navigating the media, learning about what was truth and what wasn’t the truth, and fearing ostracism from peers and colleagues for defending the word of God and being against the theft of BLM and Act Blue charities…I am lost and I need prayer. I am afraid.

You are not alone. They want you to feel defeated and lonely. If the truth is in you, then you are one with the body of Christ. I know it's their strategy to make you feel ostracized, because we all do. We are the silent majority. Just keep learning as much as you can. Learn everything that Thomas Sowell teaches and you will be ready to defend truth against the lies. Praying for you 🙏🙏🙏

I’m so glad you searched and found the light. The light of Christ in all the darkness. Your life will be one of joy, fulfillment, purpose with the heart and mind aligned. God bless!❤️ I will pray and just prayed for you to never stop searching for truth. Find trusted mentors who are aligned with your biblical views. Read your Bible. Paul wrote about all this in every letter in the New Testament. It’s crazy that 2,000 years ago the same issues of Sin were plaguing the early church as the church and society today. Read your Bible, stay in prayer with Jesus for discernment, ask for help, and find a Christian woman as a mentor, (do not focus on race, race is another idol before Christ) build your ENTIRE identity into being a Christian Woman. Not a black woman, a educated woman, a mother, a wife.. if you identify in Christ and being a Christian first all those other identifying align. Monique Dusson at Center for Biblical Unity is a beautiful Christian Woman who may be great for you to reach out to. 🙏❤️ your on the right path.

Chris hit the nail on the head when he describes the radicalization of administration and faculty in academia. I went to a "Christian" college in the early 2000s - we had a conservative student body and liberal faculty- and was radicalized in the English department and ended up walking away from my faith. I was fully captured by "Christian" marxism until I had my first daughter in the summer of 2020 - the combination of those two events caused me to wake up in a serious way. So sad to see how decieved I was for so long. Thankful for Chris and Allie's clarity.

While Sarah may prefer to keep some anonymity, I can tell you of three people I know who attended Point Loma in that general time frame who left the faith. I do know one person who kept her faith. While we can't solely blame the school, I do think we can figure out which schools have compromised when looking at their science department. If they have compromised on creation, they have capitulated to culture and no longer believe Scripture is sufficient. Just my 2 cents...

@@LarryCulp-oe8td I went to Messiah College (now university). I do know many people have had good experiences there in other disciplines and are still believers - but I think the English department is a different matter. I can only recall a single acquaintance from that department who still believes in biblical Christianity.

I think Christian Universities with Secular Professors and Administrations make them Secular Colleges that get tax benefits and money from Parents thinking they are placing children/young adults in safe schools. It’s a marketing gimmick at this point. I’m glad you went thru all that so you now know 100% the difference between The Light, The Way, The Truth in Jesus Christ, and the complete darkness of Satan. It’s very real. And so destructive.

Another thing that happened in the 60s (that stifled the revolution then) was a move of God. The Jesus movement was real. Many, seeing the problems of those times and looking for change, began embracing radical ideologies; yet, they themselves were changed when they embraced Jesus Christ and looked to the scriptures for answers. God give us another outpouring of your Holy Spirit!

The problem is, we're on a runaway train. Comparing 2020 to 1968 to 1776 is only useful if you recognize the differences, not if you highlight the similarities. For example, one of the chief differences between 1776 and now is that women didn't have the vote and were almost exclusively workers in the home. All authority was in the hands of men. We can't expect another 1776 revolution with so many women in charge. The enemy knows that and that's why he first went after Eve and is now continuing to destroy society by deceiving women. Another key element is Christianity. Although many of the men in 1776 colonial America were not necessarily Christian, they were at least Deist. There was a belief that the Bible was the Word of God. Today, the infallibility and authority of Scripture have been so far eroded, even in many churches, that there is no political solution. This is a spiritual problem.

Our pastor interrupted his scheduled sermon to do a sermon about racism in America. I was stunned at the left wing propaganda. He actually said What do you think when you see a black man holding hands with a white woman? I was shocked. My thought was did my pastor just call me a racist because I happen to be white??? I almost left the church because of that one horrible sermon but a friend talked me out of it. I forgave the pastor and 2 years later he retired so now we have a new pastor. I’m so glad I didn’t react impulsively to that. Boy what a terrible time that was.

Half our church (including me and my family) walked out within a month or two when our pastor Richard Cimino at Metro Calvary in Roseville, Ca got sucked into that garbage. What was left of the church slowly whittled away and finally closed less than a year later when the pastor abandoned those few left to go join his woke friend in Southern California. People scheduled time to try and talk to him about the evil that was pushing lies in this blm movement but he cancelled them after just a handful of people then had the gall in church to say only 8 people came to him in private. His wife even put the black square in her Facebook/instagram page and called others evil for trying to rebuke them. What a mess. I pray that he got his perspective back to a proper biblical track but he was a big follower of Tim Keller so that knot is tied pretty hard in his head. Not saying he isn’t saved but confused about the spiritual battle of the age he very much is/was. May God protect us all from those scales setting in so that we can see all as made in God’s image, all needing to be saved, and seeing sin clearly to run from it and warn others. Doxa Church in Rocklin was one of the biggest recipients of these local Christian “refugees” escaping woke pastors because the pastors there preached the word properly and held firm to truth. Happened like that all over the country.

Never went back to ours. Revenge, guilt by association, group identification, the impossibility of forgiveness due to a skin color ("white privilege"), have nothing to do with the Christian message. The associate (black) minister was asked about racism in our small (very white) town one Sunday morning. His answer? A woman in a parking lot locked her car door as he walked by. Assuming she's racist (and not simply a door locker by habit or afraid because he's a big man), I would say 1) if that's the worst, he's come to the right place to live and 2) how does that condemn the other 6.000 in the city. The minister offered an apology for racism in our town and, of course, the associate did not offer forgiveness. How could he? Forgiveness would make it impossible to be a perpetual victim. Christian indeed!

How does calvanism divide the church? Calvanism is just reformed teaching. You should read the Bible more carefully because predestination is clear in the Word. I’d ask God for wisdom. What do you believe? Do you honestly think that someone as broken as yourself gets to choose a HOLY GOD? God is sovereign and He will be forever, you can’t appreciate Christs mercy without calvanism.

14:40: Good point about dominant vicious personalities. Actually, this is how the leftist concept of "consensus" works. The most aggressive person who also has a few crony friends, will dictate, with or without a title. Large corporations have eliminated meritocratic leadership and individual achievements in fields like engineering, instead management and HR demands all technical decisions to be made through consensus, that ends up being dictated by aggressive crony individuals. This is why product quality has dropped in recent decades. The managerial class demands the same "consensus" decision making in all other areas too, like at universities, government departments and so on.

I think I’ve avoided this pitfall because even back when it was simply “tolerance” i never bought into it. Tolerance is not Biblical! The Bible teaches love your neighbor, love your enemy… I also want to caution against completely writing off mental health therapy. There are many of us who integrate psychology and theology to provide ultimate healing and hope through biblical principles, Godly promises, and the Truth He’s revealed in many evidence based techniques. Of course not all therapist are the same and not all psychologists’ theories are Truth, but we need to encourage therapists who are working in a field that can reach the hurting with God’s love, peace, joy, and hope.

Correction: it wasn't until 1974 that women could get their own credit card or open a bank account!!! I know because I was 33 years old in 1974 and had to get my dad, then my husband to co-sign everything!! Don't get me started on all the restrictions educated Christian women had, even in colleges and work places. However, I think the pendulum has now swung to far the other way. To me, "Happy wife, happy life" is not Biblical. Too many women seem to want power and control instead of letting GOD lead the Way.

This is a wildly revisionist perspective. How you can come to these conclusions and have studied history at a high school level is a mystery. It’s certainly clear that neither experienced public school recently. The 60s were unquestionably the height of anti-Left McCarthyism. The time when the federal government began big state surveillance driven by the right and jailed those on the left. Had there ever been a Marxist-Leninist leader none of this would this would have happened. We would not have fought the Cold War against Marxist Leninist communism. We would not have had the bay of pigs. The 1980s leading and through Reagan administration were the origin of the evangelical movement. The movement is documented to have actually executed the unhinged type of conspiracy you describe. See e.g. Heritage Foundation. The press has been owned by right wing owned organizations such as the Koch brothers, blackrock, and vanguard this entire time. That is fact not conspiracy. The US political system has had a single viable candidate on the left since 1990, Bernie Sanders. The Democratic Party, just like the Republican Party, is on the authoritarian right when considered in a historical and global context. See political compass 2020 elections: www.politicalcompass.org/uselection2020 The heritage foundation has successfully taken the Supreme Court and most state governments. They have undermined public education and focused on indoctrination of children into right wing values since the schools were founded. These are those I personally experienced in public school post 2000: -forced Christian only prayer in schools long after the Supreme Court ruled it unconstitutional. -disallowing Halloween parties in school because the devil would take over the children’s souls -abstinence only sex education in the face of a teen pregnancy crisis. -Teaching xenophobia and anti-Islam post 9/11. -never being taught history after WWII in schools in the name of building patriotism -mass shooter drills bc the legislature prefers to protect students from ideas over bullets. I could go on forever. There’s a reason the right has lost the younger generations.
