I always feel conflicted when I hear about people getting scammed by influencers. On the one hand, they trusted these people and invested in their ideas and ended up having their trust betrayed. Cryptoking is shady as f----, but when you're part of such a dishonest team, it really is a case of do you want to be the first to cash out or one of those who get screwed. The others are annoyed he beat them to it. It was all made possible by the fact that they wanted to do it in a way where they could manipulate the market. Which was only ever going to lead to them getting rich which thankfully didn't happen, and public investors getting screwed. Which did end up happening.
