The hotter something is the more freely the molecules move so yes it gets more conductive as it gets warmer. You will see the opposite if you make the hotdogs colder with like liquid nitrogen or have them sit on dry ice.
@ananthropomorphictalkinggo66412 жыл бұрын
It depends on the substance, but generally, conductivity goes down as temperature rises, not the other way around.

It's the moisture content of the foods...the pickles have the highest water content (pickle juice) then the hit dogs and steak. The reason why it got worse the longer you carried on was the nails were heating up and evaporating the water/moisture and drying them out.

It's because there's a motor starting capacitor inside the blender that had to charge up before it could fully start the motor

Tyler, what’s happening is as the appliance draws more and more current the resistance across the hot dog causes that voltage to drop across the hotdog itself. So if you were to measure the line side of the hot dog and compare it to the load side you would find a major decrease in voltage as you increase the amount of current being drawn across the hot dog (line side is the source side of the circuit) And with motors you have high in-rush current so when you start the motor it draws it’s peak amount of current, and after the fan is spinning at its highest speed the current gradually decreases.
@Brennen_Stier3 жыл бұрын

I think extra juices inside the dog may have helped conductivity that were produced when heat was given off by the nails. So yes, it would have been because the hotdogs are “warmer” I guess.

I swear some day this channel will give me a heart attack with Tyler's electricity experiments at around the 17:00 mark: Yes, human bodies conduct electricity. Rather well too. It's also how your body's nerves work. That's why electricity is so dangerous when handled incorrectly.
@katrinarose22103 жыл бұрын
Have you never seen a potato or a lemon battery? Most organic material can conduct electricity with resistance. With that being said, I think the beef failed so hard because it was pooling blood that touched both pieces, basically creating a short in the "power cord"
