michelle yeoh has quickly reached this level that is over the top of success; that thin line between beloved actor vs famous actor. sometimes one just needs that perfect character to play and sometimes talent will speak for itself. it is a bit hard for most hollywood actors to reach this stage because a lot of factors need to coincide with each other to create a platform to be one of the greats.

Yeah the recent Star Trek stuff has been so hit or miss (more miss to be honest.) Haven't watched Section 31 yet but it looks not very good. At least she got $12 million. (Heck Patrick Stewart got $750k per episode of Picard, so he made around $22 million, and only the third season was any good - course that was because they made it Season 8 of TNG.) That compares to $2 mill for Wicked (Jeff Goldblum got the same) - but the only cast member that really made any big money was Arianna Grande, who got $15 million.
