Acid has shown favorable results compared to actual antidepressants, ADHD meds, etc. yet we still need to study it more; so far so good. Some people have had bad trips and killed themselves, and some people have flashbacks years after taking the drug. There is a disorder called HPPD it’s basically a never ending trip, although it rarely happens it HAPPENS. If I were looking for treatment for addiction I would be very sceptical of this place, based on this answer. The doctor seems confused by the concept of lacing; there is rarely a reason for LSD manufacturers to lace their product with things like fentanyl because lacing is usually done to save money, and fentanyl is more expensive than LSD. It happens, but is very rare and is more commonly a result of accidental user cross-contamination (consider also the tiny active dose of LSD compared with other drugs!). It's telling that he completely ignores the most common product LSD is laced with - N-BOME. LSD induced psychosis does happen... In people who are already starting to develop it. There is no research (that I know of) that points to LSD inducing psychosis in healthy people. I am concerned that the doctor does not seem interested in harm reduction and seems more focused on making LSD seem scary to get clicks and views. By exaggerating and lying about LSD, it obfuscates the ACTUAL dangers of the drug and prevents people getting accurate and helpful information. Always test your drugs.

Wrong! Saw first hand account of a friend who was perfectly mentally stable go from his very first hit of acid to permanent psychosis and long term institutionalization. Playing with fire. @@user295. due to the relatively small amount of substance that can actually be stored on a tab, even if it was laced with fentanyl it wouldn’t be any where near a lethal dose. The bigger risk is the tab containing a compound called 25I-NBOME, which is a psychedelic phenethylamine. I recommend testing tabs with Erlich reagent, by cutting a small corner of the tab off and adding a drop. If the tab contains LSD then the reagent will turn purple after a few mins. If it’s doesn’t turn purple then it’s probably NBOME so avoid taking it. Erlich reagent tests can be bought on many online shops :)

From my experience the people making and selling acid aren't the type of people who would do that( I know that seems naive but trust me) And yes you can test it there's a lot of different test kits you can buy online. When ur buying acid on the street what you should really worth about is wether or not you're getting sold a research chem that can fit on blotter most notably 25i-nbome which can cause fatal overdoses. Also another reason why some one probably wouldn't cut acid with fent is it would make their acid seem weaker as I'm sure fentanyl would probably over power the drug in a way similar to a benzo would but probably not to the same extent

My family member has worked in multiple psych hospitals have has had multiple cases of 16-20 years doing psychedelics and literally going insane. They just went into psychosis and it ruined their life. I don’t know what their predispositions were or what but it’s possible. Not everyone needs to try drugs to have a normal functioning life.

i won’t even address the laces part that’s silly, just test your stuff. what i will talk on is the psychosis. acid and other psychedelia will NOT make you schizophrenic, but rather if you have underlying schizophrenia that will come out in the future, acid can expose it and activate it. either way you have schizophrenia in that situation all it’s doing is igniting it, and remember this is an INCREDIBLY small population of people who have this issue

this video is trying to be anti-psychedelics and anti-drugs, but it starts with the biggest reasons to legalize drugs, to get it pure. people that will/want to take (cause we've seen, over and over again, that people will still take drugs if they want to) can get it safely, by knowing what they're taking. in regards to the psychosis, if it was legal, we could have a psychologist evaluating you're predisposition to schizophrenia. but for all this to happen we would also need to stop this stigma about drugs, so that people would feel safe to seek for help without being judged. sry if my english wasn't the best, hope you can understand what I'm trying to say

If you have close relatives with scitzophrenia sure i would not recomment you to take it and i would either not recommend anyone to take it every weekend but mostly because of the risk of HPPD. But for anyone else i would say that there is a higher risk of taking wayyy to much and hurting yourself than to actually develop scitzophrenia. Source your LSD right, always test your stuff and take only what you can handle & you will be just fine

Where you can get fake acid, most of the time it’s gonna be something trying to mimic it’s effects, I’ve never heard of phent laced acid or anything like that but it’s definitely still a good idea to test your shit. Stay safe out there guys
