Having read the manga, Dungeon Meshi is only going to get better. Honestly, they made a good call scheduling the first cour in the same season as Frieren and Solo Leveling, because it means that those shows are wrapping up *right* as Dungeon Meshi starts getting serious. It's all up from here, baby.

In Chilchuck's defense, by no means is he a whiny kid. He's actually a middle-aged professional who's a married father of three grown kids. Unlike Laios and Marcille, he has no attachment or close relationship with Falin, but he still went down with them anyway because he's a consummate professional that does not back out of a job once he's paid. Second, he's a responsible man looking out for his community in ways beyond the surface level. He's the founder of the half-foot guild and a staunch advocate of half-foot rights. He went out of his way to save a fellow half-foot from Chimera Falin's spike attack, and the reason why he does all that is because he was nearly made into monster bait by other adventurers early in his career. Chilchuck seemingly being overbearing over his fellow half-foots is him protecting his people from falling into a similar trap.

Love your video! My (maybe) unpopular opinion: Dungeon meshi has the better world building, character design - development and *story telling* than any recent anime, even Fierren! People just love to see flashing visual fights (which is relied on the animation studio), maybe just about personal preferrence thingy. People seems get bored on a good work of art as they don't mind to pay much attention to appreciate the details 😮‍💨

she just like anime with flashy fight scene (I also do like flashy fight scene but I would enjoy it bit better if it got good writing...and Im also an animation fanatic but good animation are not just base on the fight scene alone)

What I don't get is that Lunatic magician built the dungeon and is searching for king AKA Delgar , but the acclaimed king or delgar wants someone to kill the lunatic magician. Please don't spoil guys.

I obviously get really unmotivated whenever I see these low numbers, but I can't really do anything about it. If KZbin doesn't want to recommend it to anyone, then they won't. I just have to do better next time and hope it will reach more people.
