According to Quran those who do not Judge by Allah or Rule by Allah are Fasikoon and Kafir. Technically nobody can call themselves Muslim because we do not have an Islamic Government anywhere in the world!! We instead judge by Imam Bukhari, Tirmidi and etc etc..... If the Quran was memorised in its entirety during the lifetime of Muhammad, then why did Abu Bakr command Zayd to compile it using textual fragments which he searched for rather than using only the memory of the companions who had supposedly memorised it entirely? Does that mean the Quran wasn’t memorised entirely by some of Muhammad’s companions?

I have question that bothers me whether the ahadith is a divine revelation? If so, why did the prophet saw prohibit writing them? To make it more problematic, Albani then came after 1200 yrs and reclassified the book of hadith and on whose authorities? Did all the scholars ( Salafis deobandis brelvis ect) agreed on the reclassification?

@@mrlesta There is not a single Muslim who says that the hadith is not a revelation. The subject of study and making sure that this hadith was actually said by the Prophet (PBUH) or not is another matter. I am talking about the hadiths that the Prophet (PBUH) said, did or approved. For Dr. Shabbir, the hadith and the Qur’an are all problematic for him. He wants to invent a new religion. You speak as if there is a conflict between the two?! Hadith is an explanation of the Qur’an, both are revelations from the same source, Allah, they complement each other so we are called Ahl al-Sunnah means that we follow the Qur’an and Sunnah together.

We should also look at this holistically; look at one more point of God in parallel. Yes, God made a set of rules. The rules that are true for eternity. For the entire universe. He then sent wise, and praise worthy men to reveal these laws and to interpret them to all mankind, to write them in written words that all of us could then understand. These words and laws then cannot be changed. We all have no option but to follow these rules. These second set of rules are now also found in high school physics, chemistry, and biology text books besides the holy revelations. These praise worthy men are what we call scientists. For e.g., our understanding that light travels in a straight line, Gravity operates this and this, Na and Cl interact as such etc. We cannot change these. We have to abide by and live with this. These rules hold true for eternity and for everywhere in the universe. These rules are true for all living and non-living. This is the greatness of the lord that even he cannot change these once he decides at the beginning. Thus these laws, words, intent remain unchanged till the day of the judgement.

The Quran says that it is the word of God so that means it is the word of God? No witness to God or an angel speaking to Muhammad. No confirmation by a later prophet or prophecy from a earlier prophet. In contrast, the Bible contains 66 prophetic books that all confirm the truth of each other.

Dr. Shabir, do not think that we have forgotten what you are saying, all this introduction of yours about the Qur’an is meaningless simply because in one of your episodes you said that the Qur’an is problematic, you said that about the verse (4:34). Both the Qur’an and the hadith both constitute a problematic for you, so do not delude people that the issue is only related to some hadiths, but the paradox is that homosexuality the marriage of a man to a man and a woman to a woman, of course, does not constitute a problematic for you.
