Thanks Donjear. I've certainly had my share of bad luck but those aren't very good stories. I do consider myself fortunate to have had so many close calls and escaped unscathed. I've had people tell me that I must have a higher purpose. I'm still looking for that purpose and maybe its just telling the stories of these experiences to y'all. That gravel road they went up, must've been Titus Canyon road, its about a mile away from the street with the decaying stone buildings, there are a few small ghost towns like Leadfield out there, which is actually where the picture of the metal shack was probably from, I just did a drive through that road and further down theres a super cool slot canyon, cool how its in a VinWiki Story now

Hell man, I put 110,000 on a 2008 GSX-R 750 in a year, and I live in the Midwest. I bought it brand new and rode it every day, rain, shine, and even snow a couple of times. Dirt roads? Hell yeah, I took that thing everywhere, didn't even own a car, that was it, and without fail, every weekend I took off on it all weekend and put at least 1000-1500 miles on it every weekend not to mention my normal use during the week. I'd probably still have it except it got stolen and I kinda took it as my sign that it was time to give up riding.
