Thanks Donjear. I've certainly had my share of bad luck but those aren't very good stories. I do consider myself fortunate to have had so many close calls and escaped unscathed. I've had people tell me that I must have a higher purpose. I'm still looking for that purpose and maybe its just telling the stories of these experiences to y'all. Hell man, I put 110,000 on a 2008 GSX-R 750 in a year, and I live in the Midwest. I bought it brand new and rode it every day, rain, shine, and even snow a couple of times. Dirt roads? Hell yeah, I took that thing everywhere, didn't even own a car, that was it, and without fail, every weekend I took off on it all weekend and put at least 1000-1500 miles on it every weekend not to mention my normal use during the week. I'd probably still have it except it got stolen and I kinda took it as my sign that it was time to give up riding.

That gravel road they went up, must've been Titus Canyon road, its about a mile away from the street with the decaying stone buildings, there are a few small ghost towns like Leadfield out there, which is actually where the picture of the metal shack was probably from, I just did a drive through that road and further down theres a super cool slot canyon, cool how its in a VinWiki Story now
