Excellent game, I loved the compromise black made to give up his bottom moyo and corner for more development on the right and top

"Would *I* feature a game with a bunch of 3-3 invasions?" Yes because you are chaotic neutral.

NGL, this is exactly how I envisioned this game would become Shin Jinseo's loss.

If not knowing who Shin Jinseo is means that I’ve only been playing go for a year, then I’ve somehow managed to live 10 years worth of life in just one year 😂. But I’m embarrassed that I don’t know who the strongest player in the world is lol. I feel like Lee Sedol is the only professional I really know about. Aside from him, I just imagine AI as the strongest player in the world XD. Love your vids Dwyrin!

Lee Sedol will probably go down as the last player with any real creativity. The AI has both raised the technical level of, and reduced the creativity of the game overall. The Alphago Vs. Lee Sedol match was the greatest because the AI hadn't gotten so strong at that point that it could brute force wins , so it had to play super creative like in game 2 with that move 37 "5th line" shoulder hit that broke every principle of GO, and still worked. The last game ever by a human with great creativity vs AI was game 2 of Chinese Champion Ke Jie VS Alphago Master in 2017 June. He played what the AI said was a perfect game for about 100 moves; then his concentration broke. Shin Jinseo is the answer the human race has to Alphago and Handoll. He plays just like an AI program. He's got the intelligence to perfectly mimic the AI style and whole board "fuseki" positional analysis. The only difference in a top 4000 ELO bot and Shin Jinseo is reading ability in local fights. That's it! While Shin is a super impressive player, probably the GOAT by the time it's all said and done with his career; He's just an AI copycat; He will never have the creativity of Lee Sedol at his peak. Lee played to advance the game and be super creative; since the AI has pretty much solved it now, Jinseo just plays to win period. Just nothing to prove in the creativity or game knowledge advancement areas anymore.

I think you have a pretty limited view of creativity. Any game of go is a creative act between two players, doesn‘t matter if you‘re Shin Jinseo or double digit kyu taking their first steps. We all play to the best of our knowledge and ability and try to find the best moves in a limited amount of time. To get stronger we study master‘s games, try to imitate them, to understand them, even take lessons from them. Nothing has changed, only the strongest masters are stronger now and freely available for everyone and well not human. But playing the game itself is always creative, given that you‘re not cheating. Because every game is unique and you have to improvise and respond to unexpected moves all the time. Saying there is no more creativity in Go makes no sense and is disrespectful to everyone who enjoys this beautiful game.
