Ay Beelz, as someone who has recently -survived- beaten the Elden Ring DLC I recommend you wait until you fight the final boss before you defend the difficulty, trust me. Nevertheless I hope you have fun with the dlc!

No Spoilers. I’ve enjoyed the ER DLC. Love all the new weapons. I can see how people find it challenging but I think it’s balanced, maybe a tad tanky. Took me around 5 attempts for most bosses(except final boss, still going at it.) I used the classic sword & board build. Dark Moon is still busted. Blasphemous & Sacred are also strong in certain fights. Haligtree Crest greatshield blocks a lot of attacks.

Yo sick run beelz! As for that whole convo about elden ring dlc, no spoilers of course. Im pretty deep into it and did the horrible mistake of playing it in ng+4, everything 1 or 2 shots me in the beginning, after getting some of the scadutree thingamajigs, I've been surviving more but i did that to myself of course. Been surviving well although cant enjoy it as much as i wanted to because of how difficult it is, but as i said, i did that to myself. Many of the dlcs bosses in fromsoft games usually are the hardest there is in they're games but i really cant imagine shadow of the erdtree is truly as hard as ppl say it is in base difficulty if im over here getting slapped so hard in ng+4, but in the end of the day its a fromsoft game, of course itll be hard. Although I am suffering hard, I am enjoying the hell out of it.

Advice for if shadow of the erdtree is kicking your ass: have at least 60 vigor, scavenge for as many scadutree fragments as you can find, use the opaline hardtear in your physick for bosses, and equip defense talismans like dragoncrest shield talisman

For anyone newer wanting to do a crit build on the higher DM levels but they notice they drop off here is one that is actually good. Werewolf with the wooden bow and the daggers everything else into courage and arms plus whatever you can cram into there for collection desire. That way you will have high base damage to be multiplied which you must have on the higher DMs. A total crit based build sucks ass on the upper difficulties. Werewolf has the base crit to make it work for some sick crits with little crit investment. Plus Werewolf is neat.

Hey beelz, I just wanna know if this build is OK and j have a couple other questions. I go with minotaurus with plow up every time I play dm 8 plus. I am on 10 rn. I try to get cudgel and just get as much physical damage and amps as possible. I Aldo boost health with pillars and super baby than get last resistance. Is that OK? Also, if not, what build would you recommend for dm 10? And what is dark skul, is that a dm 10 thing

dark skul is a secret boss you have to unlock in the dark mirror before you can fight him. My Overexplained Dark Mirror video shows how to unlock him. I recommend Ghoul for getting fairly reliable wins most of the time. I've got a special Ghoul vid on Easy Wins.

Grab 1-2 crit boosting items (preferably Thieves Black Steel Dagger) and give him Gunpowder Sword and or Invisible Knife. He attacks very frequently and gets crits fast. Similar to Werewolf. He has a few skills that throw out a lot of knives/projectiles that can all individually crit, leading to a lot of Gunpowder damage. The stun knife skill can be handy for CC as well.

The fact that people are saying Shadow of the Erdtree is too difficult when its a FROM SOFT game, known for putting challenge into challenging is just hilarious to hear. Armored Core 6 on release from what I heard was challenging and people struggled against 3 bosses; Balteus (Prototype), Sea Spider, and IB-01: CEL 240 and yet look at what happened to those bosses after the patch that nerfed them. The only boss I had trouble with the most with the game was ALLMIND and her modified IBIS series mech. I'm worried that people will voice their negativity too much with Shadow of the Erdtree and its going to turn into another nerf patch. EDIT: I know its a dlc but its still part of the game lol

I own this Game..what I hate of this game is that whenever you are very LOW on health, there is a chance that the Merchant sells you only one percent health!! I hate the game everytime the merchant stage screws you!! The dark mirror level is just too difficult for me!
