I personally enjoy this type of anti-hero venom than him being a straight up menace just destroying things for the sake of destroying things. Venom having his own personality is a very unique take on the character. Maybe the writing sucked but it’s enjoyable and I love the humor and chemistry. Cause venom 2 was a huge disappointment, and if they couldn't even properly show off carnage without nerfing him there's no way they're going to accurately portray knull. honestly, it was good to me. i liked it. i'm one of the people that enjoys the movies. people usually go into these movies with negative expectations/emotions and therefore their experience is bad. if you tried being positive and going in, you will most likely end up liking it. it happened to me with all 3 venom films and tons of other movies people call "mid". just learn to stay positive.

Why everyone hates Venom trilogy cus there is no spider man? Bro this is trilogy about Venom and his story (his home, other symbiotes and more) Adding spider man would direct the Venom trilogy to focus on the connection between spider man and Venom itself and not on Venom and his past and I think they did an excellent job regarding the Venom trilogy and that they found a good way to move from the Venom story to the story where Spider-man and Venom will finally meet. Spider man was not needed in Venom at all
