Wrestling fans can be in sufferable these days but if I’m being completely honest, the hate for the Roman-Brock match at ‘Mania 34 was very understandable. People were just sick to death of WWE relentlessly shoving Roman down their throats after spending four frustrating years pushing him as the top drawing babyface and failing time after time after time. Not mention the fact that the company put theirselves in a lose-lose situation since both wrestlers involved in that match the fans did not care for at all during that time. They either had to strap the belt on a wrestler whom the fans resented for being shoved down their throats or a wrestler whom the fans resented for being an absentee champion who rarely ever showed up. It was just such a complete waste of time.

Charlotte winning over Asuka was logical though, no matter what IWC may think. Asuka's NXT title reign, streak and booking worked in NXT because the fanbase consists of hardcores so it was easy for HHH to get her over and present her as badass since most fans knew about her history and NXT didn't focused much on her promo work. And NXT carters massive hardcore fans. But once she moved up the card in the mainroster the environment was completely different as most of the audience who watches the flagship shows were casuals they didn't knew much about Asuka despite WWE hyping up her streak in NXT. Even if Asuka went over Charlotte in Mania the title reign would have been poor because she doesn't draw and its hard for her to connect with the casuals due to language barrier, no matter how she delivered in the ring she would have still struggled to bring in TV ratings. This is the bitter truth which most hardcore fans don't want to admit, wrestling is a business and they will put people only who can bring views and sell matches, at the time IWC hated Charlotte but for casuals she was the star of women's division.

Cena and Taker already explained why it was a squash. Taker prepared for a match, but when he went to Vince to talk the match over with Cena, Vince and Cena agreed that Taker should squash Cena because he lost the year before. Actually, in the interview, they talked about the streak, but that happened at 30. When you look back at it, they definitely should have had the match, especially with the whole Elias thing going on.

Asuka should’ve won and the person to take the title from her should’ve been the one to beat the streak. That would’ve solidified the person who took it winning the title from her would’ve made it that much more important and impactful

AJ Styles vs Shinsuke was one of the most missed opportunities imo, You got 2 best in-ring wrestlers on the roster, The build up was great, Everything was fantastic just for the match to dissappoint.

This mania was just prime example of vince doing what he thinks is best and not trying to pull trigger on creating new stars. Nakamura, Askuka, Rusev they should have all gone over cuz none of their career has ever been same after this. Wins or losses maynot matter by number but it mattters when and where it's happening. Cena vs Taker should have been just as advertised, nakamura vs styles should main event and Brock vs Roman shouldn't have even been a thing

In a documentary I seen Taker talk about how he expected the match to be a 30 minute match and even trained his body for such after a few manias where he felt he failed himself. Only arriving at Mania that day to find out he was squashing Cena in less than 5 minutes. If I feel bad for anyone its Taker, he looked in top form, he was moving good and they cut him to a short match.

This ppv is a two match show. The ic title triple threat and the mixed tag match with Angle and Rousey vs HHH and Stephanie. The rest of this card ranges from mid to bad and has one of the worst WM main events ever. Also the fact that most people forget about the US title match on this show just shows how far we’ve come in re-elevating that title.

This was my first ever WrestleMania watching live and I started watching wrestling in the late 2017. I was so hyped for this WrestleMania considering THIS WAS THE GREATEST BUILDUP TO ANY WM IMO and each and every storyline was just picture perfect. Even the preshow and battle royals got me more hyped and the first two hours put me to the edge of the seats. But then..... I have no words how to explain what I felt. I started to realize if it was my mistake keeping my expectations high . This mania still traumatizes me to this very day.

NJPW fans were eating good in 2018. They had their dream match with Omega vs Jericho at WK12 and it delivered. A couple of months after this WM, fans witnessed the greatest pro-wrestling bout of all time with Okada vs Omega IV. I was hoping WWE to bring it after Nakamura won the Royal Rumble. Sadly, the WWE style became a hindrance for someone called The King of Strong Style. It was awfully clear Nakamura was told to tone it down especially after his match with Cena. Not a fan of Cena at all but it seemed like the guy did his homework and took that back suplex on his neck as if he was in All Japan.

Like it should’ve been Roman Reigns vs Samoa Joe for the UV Championship, Finn vs Aj for the WWE Championship, and Brock Lesnar vs Surprise Opponent(with that being a returning Bobby Lashley), & ??? vs The Undertaker

The build of Cena Vs Undertaker was one of the biggest let down 🤦‍♂️ I’d remembered how they teased the match but I didn’t like the build up since Cena was already going to become a part timer. They wasted some much time during that Wrestlemania just to have only 5 minute match. Vince was the one that called it too I didn’t enjoy it.

I remember watching this show live and I stopped watching after the disappointment AJ vs Nakamura match. And when I saw a result about the Raw Tag Team Match on Facebook, I was happy I stopped watching. But then I saw result what was going on during the Main Event and a FB page posted a Pic of Roman bleeding, I got interested again, thinking this Match was gunna be a Ruthless Aggression Type Match, I mean it is a Mania Main Event. But na, I was disappointed again, but I was surprised Lesnar retained though, but still over hyped Mania.
