I came down with cough cold and catarrh that lasted for a month. Now I have lost my sense of taste and smell. I was given antibiotics, steroids and Tesalon pearls for the cough. Prior to that, I started taking over the counter medication like Mucunex How do I get my sense of taste and smell back.

Hey, how are you doing now? I'm going through the same thing now after COVID, we've to be strong. I have heard that trying to practice with essential oils can help speed up recovery, also if it doesn't come there is a treatment that works sometimes for cases of loss of smell for prolonged time, it is stellate ganglion block treatment. Looking forward to know how you feel after a month.
